Hey everyone,
For the past couple of weeks, we've been taking in your feedback and running our own internal testing to help tweak the meta-progression and make adjustments that make the game feel less grindy and allow you to unlock more things at a more satisfying rate.
We're eager to hear your thoughts about this update (ideally after you've played it for a bit!) and we're thankful for everyone that takes the time to report issues and their thoughts on the gameplay. You folks rock.
Here are the changelogs for today:
Village Meta-Progression Balancing
- Adjusted the prices and currency costs of many items in Village shops.
- If you had already bought an item that now costs less, you will receive a currency refund the next time you reach the village.
Preparing the Village for new items
- Army Composition bonuses and Ally Monikers are now locked by default for new players and must be acquired in the Village.
- Some shops can now be upgraded to unlock more items.
Gameplay & Combat
- Fixed some Hero hitboxes sometimes using incorrect values.
- Fixed Allied Archers causing uninterruptible enemies to briefly pop up and down when hit.
- Fixed the Rogue enemy beginning another attack before its teleporting counterattack could trigger.
Multiplayer & Performance
- Improved network performance during AI fights by removing obsolete supporter-related processing.
- Fixed an occasional lag spike and excessive network traffic when ranged enemies attempted to attack obstructed targets.
Misc
- Added a larger chest model for Greater Coin Chests found during levels.
- Fixed misleading weapon descriptions for Brienne.
- Adjusted audio events for Gilles' ground stab attack.
- Various audio fixes
Have fun and until next time!
