New World Save System:
This update introduces the new World Save System, meaning worlds will no longer require conversion after future updates. Your entire existing world will be preserved, while newly added content will naturally generate in unexplored parts of the world. This is the final update that will require a world wipe - from this update onwards, your world will persist through future updates.
Sandbox Mode:
Sandbox Mode gives players almost complete freedom to explore, build and experiment without the usual limitations. It features a dedicated Sandbox Inventory with unlimited access to all currently available items, alongside chat commands for controlling various gameplay features. Players can freely experiment with building and world generation, including One Island, which creates a single biome-based island without building boundaries, and dedicated Sandbox Islands designed specifically for unrestricted building and testing

Bandit Faction:
Bandits are a new aggressive human faction currently inhabiting the Forest biome. Their arrival expands the world with new surface structures and dungeons, as well as new furniture, equipment and the Big War Horn instrument. More Bandit factions may be introduced in other biomes in future updates.

Here's a first look at the Bandit faction by Slappy Box Gaming
Steamer Localizer:
The Localizer is a new Mechanism designed to help players locate important things across the world, including islands, objects, bosses and other entities. It works with special Localizer Cassettes, which can be obtained in several ways, including from the new Navigator merchant. The Localizer recipe can also be discovered on the Starting Island and in shipwrecks. This was one of the features most requested by the community and is likely to become one of the most frequently used gadgets in players' everyday exploration.

New Enemies:
The update introduces several new threats to the world. Goruk is a new Grimverd mini-boss found in Jungle villages and dungeons, while Apex is a powerful new Spinejaw boss encountered in special arenas in the Jungle biome. The update also adds the Spinejaw Alpha, a new creature from the Spinejaw species, as well as new wildlife in the form of Vultures and Parrots in the Desert and Jungle biomes.

New Weapons & Items:
The update expands Everwind's arsenal with new weapons, ammunition and unique equipment. Claws introduce a completely new fast-paced melee weapon type based on daggers, while the new Staffs offer a different approach to magic, focusing purely on Magic Damage rather than elemental effects. Players can also discover new Apex and Goruk arrows, each featuring their own special effects.
The update also brings a selection of unique items, including the Golden Fury bow, Apex Claws, AW-51 Helmet, Last Serviceman Top Hat, Astral Robe chestplate and Scarlet Feather Ring. Alongside these, new Rotten Wood Chests and additional trophies for animals and mobs give players even more items to discover and collect.
