The Magus Circle is out! But that doesn’t mean our job is done… With this surge of sudden players we are aware you will all find bugs that we couldn’t so we will continue to provide support and updates for the next couple months! Please join the Discord and submit your bug reports and feedback there. We imagine you all will have some ideas for QoL changes we’d like to make as well. Spell recognition is also going to be tweaked as we get more feedback. Thank you all for the support so far and we want to make sure the players get our support to make the game ever better! FAQ:
Does the game work with drawing tablets? Yes! We can’t ensure it works for all hardware but most drawing tablets should work. Wacom tablets may require you to turn off the Microsoft Ink for the game to register your pen properly.
Will there be any content updates or DLC for The Magus Circle? We are focusing on polishing the core experience before we consider a content update or DLC. Please let us know what you would like to see from a DLC if we do one!
How can I support By Witchlight? Play the game! Leave a review, post some videos online and tag us! We’re a small indie team and engaging in the online community goes a long way. Alternatively, we have a Patreon where we show behind the scenes content as well as access to playtests.
Are there plans to port The Magus Circle to other devices? Yes! We are working on porting the game for Google Play and iOS by the end of this year. If we do well enough on Steam, we’d love to try to get the game on Switch but there are no active plans for Switch or other console ports at this time.
What’s next for By Witchlight? Before we move onto our next project, we want to make sure The Magus Circle is handled with the care and love it deserves post launch. Our new studio, By Witchlight, is looking forward to new games in new genres focused on delivering unique gameplay systems and stories like The Magus Circle. There will likely be more witches and more Blank.
