Hello, everyone! The v1.0.2 update continues to address issues reported by players, while also improving the game's startup experience and the way certain features are unlocked. Here's what's included:
Improvements
We've adjusted the unlock requirements for Alchemy, and you can now unlock it even if you haven't progressed through the main story.
We've added information about main story progression to quest objectives. If you get stuck, simply continue playing and the relevant features will unlock automatically.
Note: \[Raintear Seeds] can be purchased at \[Stella's Store]. Her shop will unlock later in the story, along with the \[Silver Key] map.
Bug Fixes
Fixed an issue where the background music (BGM) could disappear after saving and loading during the opening story sequence.
Fixed an issue where the entrance to \[Golden Cage] could close unexpectedly, preventing you from entering again.
Fixed an issue where Oracle texts in the story could display incorrectly after changing languages.
Fixed an issue where faction effects granted by Oracles such as Cthulhu would not take effect after loading a save.
Fixed an issue that could cause errors when exchanging for crossbreeding seeds.
Fixed an issue where purchasing the \[Wine Formula] early could prevent the related quest from being completed.
Improved the stability of saving and loading during story sequences to reduce unexpected issues.
Corrected various wording errors throughout the game.
Known Issues & Upcoming Fixes
The game may remain on a black screen for an extended period during startup. We've identified the cause and are working on a fix that will be included in an upcoming update.
How to Fix "Fatal error: Failed to load il2cpp"
1. Go to Windows Security → Virus & threat protection → Protection history and check whether il2cpp.dll/ GameAssembly.dll has been quarantined. If so, restore the files and add the game folder to your exclusions.
If you have third-party antivirus software installed, check there as well and add the files above to its trusted list or whitelist.
2. In your Steam Library, right-click the game and select Properties... → Installed Files → Verify integrity of game files.
3. Install the latest Microsoft Visual C++ 2015–2022 x64 Redistributable.
4. Right-click the game's .exe file and select Run as administrator.
