Here is what my partner and I worked on from September 14 to September 20~ We have two updates to share: V0.7.13 is now available on the stable branch, and three Myouren Empire Heroes are playable on the Beta branch. The Myouren Empire will officially launch on Friday, October 2.
V0.7.13 Stable: Rivers, Natural Wonders, and Hakurei Changes
The river system, seven Natural Wonders, and the core Hakurei Empire changes are now available to stable-branch players. Reimu's Lv.2–Lv.4 abilities have also been updated, including active actions such as Fantasy Seal and Fantasy Nature. The other four Heroes are still being adjusted.
The old Code system has become the Civics Tree, with State Worship and Hero Altars added. Keep the city-capture rules in mind: once you have spent any Action Points that turn, you cannot capture a city, and after capturing one, you cannot take further actions.
Multiplayer hosts can now adjust players' action order, and teammates have their own chat channel. A road filter, an icon showing cumulative gold spending, the Gensokyo Chess minigame, and around 20 new sound effects are also available.
The First Version of the Map Editor Is Now Available
The Map Editor now supports importing, exporting, and multiplayer! Share your maps or play on battlefields you designed with friends. We are still working on features to make the editor easier to use!
The Training Grounds and Tier List Maker have also reached the stable branch. Visit the Training Grounds to try out Heroes, units, and buildings, or make a Hero tier list and share your thoughts with us.
Replays can now be imported and exported, and the Library lets you export game assets too.
Myouren Empire: Try It on the Beta Branch~
Byakuren Hijiri, Nazrin, and Shou Toramaru are now on the Beta branch, alongside the faction's unique giant unit, Fog City Nyuudou.
You can use Palanquin Ships to carry troops and make your fleet fly, or use Drop Anchor to turn an airborne ship into a land unit. The Star Lotus Home Port, Windsor Royal Dojo, Manor, and Longbowman are also available to try.
We have also adjusted Hero abilities, level-up tasks, and Fog City Nyuudou's rules, and fixed a number of ship, building, and multiplayer issues. For now, you need to switch to the Beta branch to play the Myouren Empire; it cannot yet be selected in the stable version. (Beta branch access code: bugkillercirno)
Planned Improvements
Next, we plan to develop multiplayer saves and simultaneous turns for teammates, making it easier to save a match and keep playing with friends.
Damage prediction UI and hotkey improvements are also planned, so information is easier to read before an attack and common actions feel smoother.
We will continue correcting translation errors and revising skill, action, and Library descriptions, clarifying or correcting explanations that could be misleading.
