4.1 is about what happens on the pitch. Fouls mode is here, the goalkeeper was rewritten from scratch, and private rooms finally feel like your room.
Fouls mode — the headline
- Tackling from behind is now a foul. Every foul adds points, and the game shows who committed it and how much it added.
- Hit 10 points and you sit out for a while — your team plays a man down until you return. The countdown is on screen.
- A foul in the box is a penalty, taken properly.
- It's a private room option: turn it on if you want a hard-fought game, leave it off if you don't. Ranked stays foul-free.
Rebuilt goalkeeper
- The goalkeeper's rules were ported from NetSoccer2 and rewritten: hugging the post, coming off the line, catching, diving and parrying.
- The decision is now made by the server, identical for everyone. No more saves that happened on your screen but not on your opponent's.
- Over 130 automated tests run against those rules on every build.
Private rooms
- Team names and kits: name both sides and pick a national kit for each. Matches with friends are no longer blue versus red.
Chat
- F5 replies to the lobby's general chat from inside a match. Before, you could read the message but had to leave to answer. The key can be rebound in settings.
Take the game with you
- The game is out on the App Store and was already on Google Play. The menu has a code for each store: point your camera and install.
- Link your account and get 200 coins. Same account on both screens — same player, same items, same MMR.
- With the game on your phone you get a heads-up when the ranked queue is filling up, even with the game closed. Leave the house without missing a match.
On mobile
- Rebuilt touch controls, with a 3D tube aim showing the shot's real trajectory.
- HUD editor: drag the buttons to wherever your thumbs actually reach.
- Voice chat now works on mobile.
