Planet Exchange - S0 Only
Eligible colonies can exchange places with an unoccupied planet in Open Space.
Available only to Dead Space planets colonized before 25 September 2026, 00:00 UTC.
Each eligible planet can be exchanged once. This is a per-planet allowance, not a single exchange for your entire account.
The destination must be in a fully explored Open Space system. Both the destination planet and all its moons must be unoccupied.
The entire planets exchange places together with their moons. Your planet retains its size, type, temperature, buildings, resources and stationed ships. You are moving your existing colony, not transferring its development onto a different planet.
Quantum Synthesizers remain on the relocated planet but stop producing Quantum Dust in Open Space.
Active missions involving either planet or their moons prevent the exchange.
Permanently deployed stealth observers at the affected destinations are automatically recalled rather than permanently blocking relocation.
To use this feature, open your eligible planet in the system overview, select Exchange planet, enter the destination’s full coordinates and review both locations before confirming. Planet exchange is not available on NF or Beta.
Galaxy Map
Added a button to copy full planet coordinates directly from the system overview.
Coordinates can be pasted into chat or used when selecting a destination for planet exchange.
Added relocation previews showing both planets and their moons before confirmation.
Mining Escort Guidance (Experimental mechanic)
Added pirate-risk guidance to mining dispatch windows, including missions launched from outposts.
The interface warns when no combat escort is selected or the selected escort appears insufficient.
Guidance explains that larger mining fleets attract larger pirate fleets: adding miners without strengthening the escort increases the danger.
The estimate considers the security zone, fleet composition and available effective ship stats.
Existing protections are recognized, including the exemption from ordinary pirate raids for up to five mining ships in Sentinel Space, protected training missions and applicable commander protection in Open Space.
Zone-specific explanations clarify whether pirates can destroy mining ships or threaten only their cargo and escort.
These are advisory warnings, not dispatch restrictions or guaranteed battle predictions. Command vessels, outpost defenses, separate defense fleets and temporary/local bonuses are not included in the ordinary escort estimate. The absence of a warning does not guarantee safety. Pirate strength and raid rules have not been changed by this update.
Espionage Guide
Added a dedicated Espionage & Counter-Intelligence chapter to the game guide, initially in English. It explains:
How research, reconnaissance ship types, fleet size and local defenses influence espionage.
The difference between intelligence quality, detection and interception.
What each intelligence tier, T0–T4, reveals.
How long-term surveillance and spy sweeps work.
How interception battles, casualties, debris and related reports are handled.
Related guide pages have also been updated to remove outdated explanations. These are documentation updates, not another change to espionage mechanics.
Fixes and Performance
Fixed an error that could prevent the alliance extraction-status page from loading.
Optimized message and notification list loading.
Added translations for the new planet-exchange interface and mining guidance in all 26 supported game languages.
DEV NOTE: The transition period for S0 is beginning, with the zones now being properly divided by danger level. Anyone who currently has a planet in Dead Space, or gets one there within the next couple of days, will have a one-time option to swap it with a planet in Open Space. This option will be disabled in approximately three weeks. Preliminary rules for the new zones:
Sentinel Space will remain safe.
Open Space: losses from battles on planets and moons will be limited in scale. The exact percentage is still being discussed, but losses will not exceed 50%.
Dead Space: shield reinforcement will no longer be possible. However, the 8-hour Sleep Shield will most likely remain available on S0.
Damage to and destruction of buildings from attacks will be disabled.
As planetary defenses are repaired, they will immediately regain effectiveness in proportion to their repair progress instead of requiring a full repair to 100% before becoming operational again.
