Jubilations!
Last update for a while here.
One very important note :
If the game's frame rate changes after the update, this is likely due to the changes made to Frame Rate Cap which means it actually works with vsync.
Before, you would choose a frame rate (eg, 60fps etc) - but now, due to how Unity v-sync works, you choose a division of your monitor's refresh rate (eg, 1/2 or 1/3). So if you're playing on an 144Hz monitor, a setting of 1/2 will cap the frame rate at 72fps.
Because this setting has changed under the hood, existing save data may leave it on the lowest setting of 1/4 - sorry!
Simple head to the Settings -> Visual Settings -> Advanced Visual Settings and set the Frame Rate Cap to its default value (which should be Vsync-Uncapped).

Added player highlight to photo mode, to allow players to remove phase glow
Made preferences save when progress saves, so news popups store their read status more robustly
Change to how Frame Rate Cap works - now it should actually work, by locking the frame rate to a fraction of your monitor refresh rate. If you changed this setting previously, you might find you have a locked framerate at a lower speed than you like.
OK bye!
