Hello everyone,

It has been two days since launch. In that time we went through every review, bug report and gameplay video that reached us on Steam.

This first update is the result: some scares now land the way they should, finding your way is easier, and the rough edges that slipped past us at launch are cleaned up. We are keeping the details vague to avoid spoilers.

GUIDANCE AND INTERACTION

• An object some players struggled to find is now easier to spot.
• An objective prompt was reworded to be clearer.
• The game now warns you when you try to use a two-handed item while already holding something.
• Fixed a situation where an interaction could not be exited.

ATMOSPHERE, AUDIO AND TENSION

• A scare that should trigger at a specific moment was not firing; fixed.
• Lighting in one sequence was reworked to build more tension.
• New tension audio was added to one sequence.
• Fixed an inconsistency between weather effects.
• Added missing audio to the final scene.
• The final scene has been extended with a new moment. No details; you will see it when you play.

BUG FIXES

• Fixed a character appearing at a moment when they should not be visible.
• Fixed the wrong name showing during a phone call.
• Fixed a door being left open and exposing what lies behind the scene.
• Added missing context to one scene.

THANK YOU

Thank you to everyone who has played, left a review or reported a bug.

If you run into anything else, reach us on the Steam discussions or at [[email protected]](mailto:[email protected]) we read all of it.
