Greetings, Collectors! A huge (huge) thank you to all of you who have been busy over Discord, Steam and social media - giving some incredible feedback since our launch.

Last week we conjured up our first patch. 0.2.1 brought UI fixes, navigation improvements, combat bug fixes and general improvements fixing crashes, audio issues and some visual optimisations - as well as the introduction of our new Quick Start feature to get Collectors right into the action.

We don’t plan on having 0.2.2 ready for you just yet, but we wanted to keep a touchpoint here to let you know what’s happening in the Panache office - With the caveat that development is never a smooth journey so all of this may be moved, delayed or otherwise pushed back or out.

We’ve been taking a look at crash fixes and hope to have made progress in this area for supported hardware (though as a note, to avoid crashes graphics cards will still need to support Ray Tracing).

We also have multiple improvements and fixes currently in various stages of completion. This includes a big focus on bugs, but also on combat responsiveness, player movement and accessibility improvements.

In addition, we’ve been making progress towards the issue with non-English subtitles and while we don’t have this 100% fixed as yet, we do hope to have good news for you soon.

A huge thank you once again to all the Collectors in our Coven who’ve been giving us your honest, constructive feedback. Not every update will be quite as long as this one, but we want to make sure you all feel up to date - and have the opportunity to ask further questions outside our dedicated #ask-the-devs channel on Discord.

Thank you, Collectors - From the 1666: Amsterdam Team
