Great, terrifying news: Normal Golf Game is OUT NOW on Steam!
For those who don’t know the story, I’m a former mobile game developer (I designed Fruit Ninja and Jetpack Joyride) now solo indie dev. This is my second ever solo project, and it’s been a real rollercoaster. A few months ago I was worrying I might never find an audience for this weird little game. But when the demo went live, it went kinda viral, with millions of views online and a ton of press coverage.
Now, after a heck of a lot of hard work, the full game is finally ready to launch. This version includes new difficulty modes, new clubs, a massive map, over a hundred bounties, and a meta storyline where you’re kidnapped and forced to play golf by a deranged game designer.
You know, normal stuff. Oh also you can just play nine holes of normal golf if you want in a bonus mode. Yes, I do read the forums :)
Thank you so much to everyone who playtested / reviewed / streamed / generally supported this crazy project. I hope you have a wonderful, relaxing, and above all else normal time.
