Hey FRUKT Town! That small update I mentioned is out and ready to download :)
What's inside:
- The nice little thing I promised - a new weapon, the Lynx-F assault rifle
- Another nice little thing I didn't promise - reworked, more realistic bullet damage. Short version: entrance wound is small, exit wound is big. Smaller on the Viper 17, bigger on the Lynx-F. The shape of the damage inside the body is different now too: a Viper 17 bullet no longer leaves that dumb straight line, it leaves a wound channel with small tears going off in different directions. The Lynx-F is a whole other story, because it fires 7.62. And 7.62, as some of u guys know, causes cavitation inside the body in real life. Well, now it does in FRUKT too
- And ANOTHER nice little thing - bullets now go all the way through the body
- Settings menu. The list might not be complete - I may still manage to add something before release. Please let me know what u feel is missing there
- Part of the new UI from the release version
- New sounds
- Bug fixes
- New bugs
- A Discord button. I'm running a giveaway of 50 FRUKT keys there (yes, still shamelessly baiting u into joining)
Some of the stuff on this list wasn't planned for this update at all - but since I'm managing to get more done for the release than I expected, I figured I could treat u guys a bit :)
Yeah, I did mess up on this one - sorry for the 2-day delay. No excuses, that one's on me: I just planned the demo work badly. The only thing I'll say, so u don't worry: it has nothing to do with the release being in trouble. The release is turning out really good, and that's exactly why the demo slipped - right now I'm sacrificing everything else for its quality. Hope u like this tiny update!
And a reminder: after release I'm planning to remove the demo, since it has fallen way behind the release version - which means it has lost its main job, showing the game to new players.
