Achievements now unlock the moment you earn them. Before, they could pop up a minute or more later, and sometimes only after restarting the game.
Fixed achievements sometimes never unlocking, for example when the game was started without Steam running or Steam didn't register them. The game now remembers every achievement you earn and keeps asking Steam until it confirms, and achievements already earned in your saved shift unlock when you press Continue.
