We’re heading into the weekend, with plenty happening across the Stars Reach community! Better Together Update 8.6.0 is here, and we’re gathering for a Fireside and Boss Hunt this Sunday. Plus, there’s lots happening for our creators!
We’re celebrating the top creators from our last campaign, kicking off a brand-new Fall Creator Campaign with new rewards to earn, and dropping our new Makers: Made to Misbehave merch collection.
There’s a lot to explore, create, and get into this weekend. Let’s get into this week’s Starside!
Find Your Crew: Better Together Update 8.6.0
Find your crew: Create parties, chat in a dedicated Party channel, and see party members on your map while exploring the same zone.
Find your way: The first iteration of the Galactic Map will give you an overview of the galaxy, connected sectors, and where your adventures can take you next.
Craft more easily: Recipe Activation is being removed. If you qualify for a recipe, you’ll be able to craft it. Every recipe now has a qualification.
Spend less time managing inventory: New shortcuts, fractional item movement, durability indicators, and other improvements will make inventory and storage easier to manage.
Plus, Better Together includes another round of fixes and improvements across Haven, Adventure Worlds, homesteads, the Starbase, and more.

We love seeing fellow game developers build new worlds, and our friends behind Farhaven are getting ready to launch their Kickstarter on October 1!
Farhaven calls itself a “FriendMO”: a cooperative sandbox RPG where up to 16 friends and family can build a magical town together in their own private, persistent world.
