[p align="start"]It's been a few versions since 3.7, so this one has more in it than usual. Here's what matters.
Full voice acting for story content
[p align="start"]Story dialogue now has real voice acting. 213 new voice lines were added to VN scenes, and the WeChat messages got a full re-record too. Everything is normalized to -18 LUFS, so you won't be riding the volume slider.[p align="start"]There's a separate Voice Volume channel in settings now, independent from music and sound effects. Auto-play waits for a line to finish before moving on, and skipping mid-line won't hang.[p align="start"]We also pulled the music bed down under dialogue and muted it during tower exploration, so voices don't get buried.
Reworked onboarding
[p align="start"]The first ten minutes have been rebuilt. You'll get an objective panel that walks you through "first payout → stock up supplies → upgrade the RV → free play", and you can skip any step on its own.[p align="start"]The old blue tooltip popups are gone entirely. The new onboarding runs again on every fresh run, so returning players see it too.[p align="start"]The cockpit home screen also picked up RV management and stash shortcuts.
Rebirth talents are rolled at the start now
[p align="start"]The rebirth gacha chain is gone. Every run now opens with 3 talents rolled on the spot — white 45% / blue 32% / purple 16% / gold 7%, and all of them apply.[p align="start"]Don't like your roll? Reroll. The first 3 are free, then it's 150 source crystals and +50 each time after. You can lock the ones you want and reroll the rest. The pity is hand-wide: if your hand has nothing purple or better, you're guaranteed one purple or gold.[p align="start"]Talents you already own from old saves get converted to source crystals once, capped at 8,000.
Readability on high-resolution displays
[p align="start"]Font sizing got another pass. Text that was too small at 4K now scales with the interface. Equipment panel text contrast was fixed as well.
Combat and gameplay
[p align="start"]Chain-stun protection is in: after you lose a turn to a stun, you gain one control resistance, so the next enemy attack can't stun you — bleed, vulnerability and other effects still land normally. No more getting stunned to death by a boss. The tower map is now persistent — entering and leaving combat no longer rebuilds it, so you come back to the same map. Fixed settlement recovery after a completed fight. Fixed the fog layer covering the combat UI during tower fights. Corrected the orbital strike damage readout; auto-play no longer gets stuck. Threat level state and the UI now agree when you shut down base defense.
Shop and items
[p align="start"]Removed the purchase limit on fishing rods. Fixed gold-tier catches not being farmable in the eco tank. Unified the gate weapon workshop blueprint entry — no more buying a blueprint and having nowhere to use it. The radio now takes 2x2 inventory cells, matching its actual size.
Other
[p align="start"]Unified the extreme heat era visuals — no more cold-weather art bleeding through. 1/2/3 hotkeys on PC no longer get stolen by the top-level navigation. The intro splash plays once per launch. Fixed the Revert button icon in display settings. Fixed Chinese labels for crew affinity stages and battle roles. Legacy saves keep their P2 phase when loaded instead of reverting. Save read/write paths are leaner and transaction history is capped, so long sessions hold up better.MORE ON STEAMCOZYApocalypse: The Last RVPrice tracking · player charts · similar games →
