Dear Sect Masters,
Since Eastern Era launched, we have received a great deal of feedback and advice from all of you. Some of it has been bold ideas for new gameplay, while some has been frank criticism of existing issues. Every voice has helped move the game forward. We sincerely thank every player who has taken the time to share feedback or submit a report.
In our previous version preview, we introduced the main directions for V1.2 \[Realms Unveiled]: Secret Realms, cities, Ancestral Halls, and sect sparring. After this period of development and refinement, while this Demo does not yet contain as much as we would like, we still want to share it with you as soon as possible and hear your thoughts.
In this Demo, you can take your disciples into Kaifeng, seek out randomly appearing Secret Realms across the Open World, build a Competition Arena to test your disciples' abilities, and raise gravestones, build halls, and make regular offerings for those who never returned. At the same time, we have fixed a number of issues reported by players and continued improving late-game management performance.
Before we begin, we would like to share a small piece of news~~

V1.2 \[Realms Unveiled] Demo Overview
I. Exploring the City
The jianghu does not end at your sect gate. This update opens up exploration within Kaifeng. Click Enter on the city screen to lead your disciples into the city.
The city has many stalls where you can trade with local merchants. The current version offers three categories: "Silk," "General Goods," and "Antiques."
The streets are filled with people from all walks of life, and some characters offer special quests.
Hidden treasures may occasionally appear throughout the city. Keep an eye on the corners of its streets and alleys for unexpected rewards.
Only Kaifeng is currently available, and its stalls and quest content are still being expanded. Based on your feedback, we will gradually open more cities and add richer city gameplay.

II. Secret Realms Across the World
Secret Realms can appear at random anywhere in the Open World. When one appears, a special road will connect to it. When it disappears, the road disappears as well.
Secret Realms are available for a limited time. They will disappear automatically if no one participates or if all participation attempts are used. Opportunities never wait.
1. Hundred Thousand Mountains
One team may participate, with up to five disciples entering.
Strange beasts, treasure hunters, and treasure may appear at random within the Secret Realm.
Defeat the final guardian beast deep within the Secret Realm to clear it. Any treasure obtained can be brought back to your base.
Note: If you leave midway, you cannot take any acquired treasure with you.
2. Hunt of Heroes
Up to four teams may participate, with up to five disciples per team.
The match grants 1 Energy Point every 3 seconds. Dispatching disciples consumes the corresponding number of points based on their Realm.
Teams are ranked by the total damage dealt to the boss. The higher the ranking, the better the rewards.
3. Battle for the Duality Nexus
Only two teams may participate, with up to five disciples per team. Energy gain and consumption follow the same rules as above.
The difference is that victory requires destroying the Energy Nexus inside the enemy's main camp. Only the winning side receives rewards.

III. Sect Sparring: Let Your Disciples Prove Themselves in the Arena
A new Competition Arena building is available through Jianghu Tech.
Assign disciples to spar at the Competition Arena and test their abilities. Sparring ends before anyone is seriously hurt and causes no real damage.
After a sparring match, you can view a Battle Report at the Competition Arena with details of the most recent 10 matches.
To prevent both participants from waiting indefinitely, the Competition Arena has a preparation time limit. If either disciple fails to reach the designated position in time, the sparring match will end.

IV. Graves and Ancestral Halls: Remember Every Disciple Who Fought for the Sect
New burial-related Tech has been added. Once unlocked, you can build Graveyards and Ancestral Halls.
All people who fall at the sect grounds can be buried. Leaving them unburied will lower your disciples' Happiness, and those with greater closeness to the deceased will be affected more severely.
When using an individual grave, you can erect a gravestone in memory of the deceased.
You can use the room system to create an Ancestral Hall. Once built, it can hold Memorial Tablets for buried disciples, where regular offerings may be made.
If an Ancestral Hall enshrines a fallen Sect Master, it can provide additional benefits to your disciples.
Graveyards and Ancestral Halls need regular cleaning. Otherwise, resentment may rise and cause the dead to reanimate.

V. Crossover Content: Mandate Order
New crossover buildings from Mandate Order have been added and can be built once unlocked. We thank the Mandate Order development team for their support and hope you enjoy this gift from a battlefield in troubled times.

VI. Other Additions and Adjustments
Added randomized height and weight data for disciples, making their appearances more distinct.
Added the Truce Order to Sect Tenets.
Adjusted the unlock order of Sect War-related Tech and fixed an issue preventing relevant new Tech from being obtained in old saves.
Fixed an issue where the Cooking skill did not increase slaughtering yields.
Optimized building creation: foundations, roofs, and walls are now merged after construction is complete. This further reduces building counts and overhead for large sects, improving gameplay and save performance.
BUG FIXES
Fixed disciples still running to an item's original location to "carry air" after the item had been moved or merged with another stack.
Fixed disciples repeatedly transporting certain items that could not be stored in warehouses.
Fixed disciples taking entire stacks of identically named equipment while changing outfits, causing extra equipment to disappear or equipping the wrong item.
Fixed disciples continuing to retrieve equipment after an outfit change was cancelled.
Fixed some items still not being moved into warehouses after selecting "Select All" in warehouse storage settings.
Fixed new Tech remaining locked in old saves even when its prerequisites had already been completed after a version update.
Fixed incorrect Realm displays for some disciples after loading a save, which prevented them from reading books with Realm requirements.
Fixed recruited surrendering characters not changing appearance when switching armor. This takes effect after loading a save for surrendering characters already in the sect.
Fixed rewards from the same quest being claimable repeatedly under certain circumstances.
Fixed NPC sects sometimes neither attacking nor retreating after besieging a city, leaving their forces stationed outside indefinitely.
Fixed cities still displaying a siege icon after loading a save even when no one was besieging them.
Fixed attacks launched by wandering forces being cancelled after loading a save, causing the attacking troops to retreat immediately.
That concludes the full V1.2 \[Realms Unveiled] update content.
Thank you for your continued support, requests for updates, criticism, and encouragement. Once we have completed the V1.2 content expansion and bug fixes, development of V1.3 will already be underway.
If you encounter any issues while playing, please let us know through the Steam Community or the official player groups. Every piece of feedback will be taken seriously.
