Thank you to every angler who's been with Real VR Fishing for these 7 years. Our 7th Anniversary event, "Prehistoric Sharks," has officially launched!
\[Full Support for the All-New Steam Frame!] Steam Frame launched just this week — and we're excited to say Real VR Fishing fully supports it right out of the gate! Whether you're jumping in on Valve's brand-new headset or your existing PCVR setup, we've got you covered.
Full compatibility with Steam Frame, ready to play from day one.
Fixed an issue on HTC Vive and Valve Index where incorrect key mapping was preventing gameplay from progressing.
We'll keep working to make sure Real VR Fishing runs smoothly no matter what headset you're on.
\[Fossil Hunt — Unlock the Event Maps!] Once you enter an event map, you'll see hints pointing you to the locations where that era's fossils can be found. Follow the hints, collect fossils at those locations, and the event map will unlock — along with your rewards.
\[Meet the Prehistoric Sharks in the Paleozoic Map!] This week's event map is the Paleozoic map! Collect 2 fossils to unlock it.

All maps remain playable through October 6. Unlock each map and catch every Paleozoic shark to earn a brand-new item as your reward!
\[Free Map Update Every Month, September–November] The Prehistoric Sharks event isn't the only thing we've prepared. As a thank-you for these 7 years, we've put together 3 brand-new stages, completely free — rolling out one per month across September, October, and November. This September, we're introducing Rogue River, Oregon! Playable in the US West Free region, and it comes with 2 new fish species as well.
\[Angler's Logbook] Revisit the records and memories you've built over the past 7 years in your Angler's Logbook, located to the right of the Main TV. Your data covers the period from our launch on September 12, 2019, through September 12, 2026. Once you've looked through your logbook, a reward will be waiting for you — and you can share it with friends and the community too, so go ahead and show it off!
