Today, we are launching several new servers across the US, EU, and Asia (Japan) for Soulbound: Online to increase player capacity. What does that mean?
With the launch of the new servers, players on these servers will be joining at the beginning, so if you and your friends want a fresh start on a completely untouched server, now is the time!
If you're new to Soulbound: Online, this is a great time to get started. Since Early Access, we’ve shipped a new update every single week, with seven major updates, patches, and massive improvements to every element of the game, all based on community feedback.
You can create any number of characters on different servers, and your progress will be unique per character. Please note, it's not possible right now to move a character from one server to another. If you're playing with friends, make sure you all create your characters on the same server! In the future, we hope to allow for character transfers between servers to improve the Soulbound experience for everyone.

Every Single Week Since Early Access
We launched into Early Access on 21 July and have shipped an update every week since. Here is the short version:
Patch 1 (30 July): Mining progression rebalanced, high-tier smelter upgrade times cut, World Map resource tooltips now show the correct drops per zone, plus fixes for bosses leaving the arena and players getting stuck in the world.
Patch 2 (6 August): We confirmed there will be no wipe at 1.0. Dungeon performance and stability improved, Tier 5 and Tier 6 craft times reduced, six new crops added, and stamina zones added to the major hubs.
Patch 3 (13 August): Gear tooltips overhauled so rolled stats show consistently everywhere, bank and inventory syncing made far more reliable, crafted Legendaries now receive their Legendary effect, and fishing events no longer end when a server-wide bar fills.
Patch 4 (20 August): Gear and weapon crafting is now near-instant, station upgrades no longer take any time, generators produce twice the power with a new high-tier fuel worth three times coal, combat logs added, and group play XP raised.
Patch 5 (27 August): Achievements launched. Empty ability slots now offer a random ability in dungeons so you can try abilities you have not unlocked yet, usernames became globally unique with a free name change quest, gamepad aim support added, and skill level requirements removed from Tier 1 and Tier 2 gear.
Patch 6 and 6.5 (3 and 4 September): Dungeon gear drops are now split by faction so you can farm the dungeon for the set you want, Relic Refresher stacks raised from 20 to 100, and Chinese and Japanese fonts added. Then a dedicated performance patch: background sprite loading, an on-disk sprite cache, faster world loading and chunk swapping, smoother camera and mount movement, a V-Sync option, and higher player caps in the early maps.
Patch 7 (10 September): Bank performance rebuilt for players with large inventories, crafted gear now rolls random stats from the same pool as dungeon drops, equipment salvaging added with Tammy in Arcadia, and all 40 Chemistry Lab consumables rebalanced.
