A new version of The Bus DLC – Hamburg City is now available via the Public Beta. It introduces several new features, adjustments, and improvements.
All owners of the Hamburg DLC can already try out the new version.

To do so, open the properties of The Bus in Steam and, under “Game Versions & Betas”, switch from “Default Version” to “Public-Beta.” Owners of the Hamburg DLC will then automatically receive the latest Public Beta version of the DLC.
Important note in advance: The current beta does not yet include the extension of Line 17 from Bramfelder Dorfplatz to Karlshöhe. Work on this section of the route is currently in full swing. The extension will be added in a later version.
With the new beta, buses are visible again at the Alsterdorf depot.
The operating schedule has also been expanded to include driver changes. These are particularly relevant for Economy Mode and represent another important part of the overall operational process.
There have also been numerous visual and technical improvements. In the northern area of the map, for example, the view distance has been increased. In addition, the traffic flow of AI vehicles has been adjusted, and new decorative elements have been added at various locations.
Owners of The Bus DLC – Ebus 2.2 can also look forward to an additional feature.
A Hamburg Hochbahn repaint is now available directly in the game.
While the Ebus 2.2 is not actually part of Hamburg Hochbahn’s real-world fleet, the repaint provides an additional fitting vehicle option for journeys in the Hamburg DLC.
The current Public Beta serves as the basis for the next official update of The Bus DLC – Hamburg City. The update is then also expected to be released for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S shortly afterwards.
