As you may know we're still working on a console release... and as such, we can use the same controller improvements we make there, for the PC and Steam Deck build!
Changes
Menu cards now animate when hovered and selected with a controller.
Skipping a card reward now requires a button hold on controllers.
Added controller support for camera rotation (Left joystick horizontal while holding R3)
Run manager and profile manager controller updates:
Always show the info frame.
Automatically highlight another button after deleting one.
Use an animated button for highlight emphasis.
Reselect the same button when canceling the remove popup.
Show the highlight on the first button when opening the screen.
Allow moving the selector in all menus by holding down the directional input on controller.
Allow multi tile building with controller by holding the select button down and moving the building preview.
Make movement of building preview with controller smoother.
Allow hovering over the cards and showing the tooltip with a controller when looking at the content of a deck in: the deck selection screen, draw pile, discard pile, unlock screen, and exhaust pile.
Add controller support to open the gameplay log. It uses the same input as the missions and now loops between Show mission → both hidden → show log
Hide the “Edit card collection” toggle on the missions tab of the collection.
Hide the current mission on the Night ends screen.
Fixed Bugs
Fix key binding saving. (Engine update changed saving permission for the Input.ini file)
Fixed a crash when selecting Upgrade on the boss rewards screen when there are no upgradable cards in the deck.
Fixed card text does not update its size when the setting is adjusted during gameplay.
Fixed room card tooltips do not use the size setting.
Fixed text scale setting inconsistencies in the log, collection and unlock screen.
If you found a bug or a crash that we haven't caught yet, let us know in the Steam Discussions, we'll have a look. (Or on our Discord, even better! https://discord.gg/MhcDeypzne)
If you like the game and the direction we're headed in, feel free to leave a review, as this helps us more than you think!👻
And again, a big thank you for playing and all your feedback ❤️
