Huge milestone for the game today as we release our 100th free update for Cyber Knights: Flashpoint! 🎉🎉🎉 This expansion includes an all-new storyline that offers an end-game retirement option, a large expansion to the Null Deal origin storyline, plus two brand new maps added to the proc-gen mission pool.
Our Save Game Policy and Updates
[p align="start"]As always, we take your saved games very, very seriously. Since you'll always be seeing a lot of updates around here, we want to reiterate our saved game policy so everyone understands our commitment to your games. No saved game will ever be invalidated by an update. All new content and features will be added immediately to all saved games (with the reasonable exception of New Game options). You never have to restart if you don't want to. This is a studio commitment that we have made and kept for many years and games. We stand by it. So do not stress about the many updates that will continue to come - heist on my good heisters.Unsettled Graves - A new retirement storyline.

Retirement storylines offer a potential end-game conclusion to your playthrough. These stories feature a series of high-stakes missions that, if completed, provide you with the choice of leaving the danger of being a Cyber Knight behind, escaping to a better life, and potentially helping your most loyal squad members do the same. You can always choose to decline retirement, continuing to enjoy the thrill of the heist until you go down in a blaze of glory, or now, in the hopes of someday finding an even better retirement option.
Unsettled Graves begins with an echo of a legendary Cyber Knight, who was presumed dead over 50 years ago, suddenly making waves across the global Matrix. From the first echo, the hunt is on and you can join in the race to try to find out if this legend is actually still alive; and if so, where he might surface.
The new Unsettled Graves arc includes over 6 challenging missions, reveals exciting lore about the origin of Cyber Knights, introduces new characters, and offers the choice to take a new path to retirement at the end of your career. Unlike the Daedelus Bloc retirement story which forces you to make the choice to retire or return to the streets, the retirement offer at the end of Unsettled Graves is "willing to wait" and stays open for you as long as you want.
Quick reminder: all of these updates are made possible by players like you leaving a review! Most games on Steam receive reviews from fewer than 3% of the players that have bought them. All it takes is a few quick words and a thumbs-up to help keep Cyber Knights growing for years to come! Please head to CKF's Steam page and leave a review now if you haven't already. |
Null Deal: Echoes in the Void

The Null Deal origin story (one of two New Game options you have for a starting storyline that explains how your character has become a Cyber Knight) is a storyline that has garnered a lot of interest from the players and a desire for it to extend further into the game. Like the recent expansions to Zasha's Neuro Rot storyline and Emille's Project KHRONOS storyline, we've come back around again to Null Deal to build more on the characters and questions it introduced.
This new story expansions delves further into Toska's hunt for the lost prototype, uncovering history and secrets of Knight Horizon just before the milsec corporation fell. Will you keep cutting deals with Toska or will you decide to cut your own path? The choice is yours.
This new storyline expansion includes 3 new missions (including one set on one of our brand new maps) and offers you the chance to recruit Jamie, an ex-Syndicate triggerman who is eager to prove himself. (You keep your barracks upgraded so you have an open space for new recruits, right?)
New Origin Story Rewards

With the update to the Null Deal origin story, we have also looped back to the Syndicate Debts storyline to ensure that there is a unique reward at the end of the arcs as they stand today. Each main contact from the storyline has gained a new service - with Octane gaining a Syndicate Programs service (+4 powerful hacking programs), Ghoul gaining a Syndicate Weapons service (+6 unique and Syndicate-styled weapons) and Toska gaining a V-Ups Combat Drugs service (+5 new combat drugs from his modified V-Ups line).
In line with our saved game policy, if you have completed these origin story arcs, your game will be automatically updated accordingly - so you can check your contacts for the new services upon loading your game.
Two new maps! Midnight Datacenter & Corporate Waystation

We're excited that the map pipeline has been churning for a while and the first two glorious results are ready to be revealed! Both maps are deep corporate enclaves, built around vaults to protect precious prototypes or all-important Q-gapped matrix hosts. Security systems are bristling, lights are down low and the air is heavy in the wide open spaces leading up to the more cramped and maze-like back areas where the important objectives are housed.
The new Midnight Datacenter is a mid-sized corporate site that features a wide open central hall in the approach to the highly-secured quantum computing chamber. While your team might sneak or gun their way across the open space, there is a busy periphery that runs all the way around the map, providing more options for moving, slipping past patrols or edging closer to your objective. The new Midnight Datacenter map is connected to 14 proc-gen objectives and will be especially great for Shadow Sites, Prison Break and Heist CPU objective types.

The new Corporate Waystation features a long U-shaped entry hall full of cargo trucks, storage areas and enough varied terrain for a stealth team to take a nap in, all wrapped around a central, secured complex of lootboxes and the quantum mainframe. There are many ways in, there are many ways out - so pick and chose your paths well to achieve your objectives. But don't let yourself get boxed in there! The new Corporate Waystation map is connected to 14 proc-gen objectives and really sings on Shadow Sites, Heist CPU and Scav raid objectives.
These 2 new maps brings the total proc-gen combos (map X objective) up to 430! We are excited to be ramping up the map pipeline again and expect to see a continued push on adding new maps through the end of the year.
