Last week, we shared our Development Plan and some of the areas we'll be focusing on as we continue working on Gloria Victis.
This week, we're taking another look at where we're headed, sharing the latest improvements to State of War, and celebrating another pair of Community Spotlight winners.

Looking Ahead 🛠️
Last week, we shared our Development Plan, outlining some of the areas we'll be focusing on as we continue working on Gloria Victis.

Our focus remains on developing the game steadily and sustainably, prioritizing areas that we believe will have a meaningful impact on your experience.
That includes:
- Implementing Easy Anti-Cheat
- Improving stability and performance
- Addressing important bugs and issues
- Quality-of-life improvements
- Monitoring and improving existing systems
Not every week will come with a major content announcement, and some updates will naturally take more time than others.
That doesn't mean work has stopped.
Development continues behind the scenes, and when we introduce changes or new systems, we want to give them the attention they need rather than rushing something simply to fill a schedule.
Your feedback continues to play an important role in helping us understand where that attention is needed most.

State of War Updates ⚔️
State of War continues to evolve!
Since its return, we've been monitoring battles and looking at ways to improve the experience based on how guilds and alliances are using the system.
Here are some of the latest changes:
Alliances & Participation
- Removed the limit on the number of alliance members who can participate in a State of War battle.
- Guilds controlling a battle can now decide whether members of their alliance are allowed to register for the clash.
- Guild emblems are now displayed next to participant names in the State of War battle overview within the Diplomacy panel, making it easier to distinguish players from different guilds.
Battle Improvements
- Added a countdown timer showing how much time remains in a State of War battle.
- Further improvements have been made to the battle view within the Diplomacy panel.
- Fixed an issue where players who left a State of War battle before it concluded did not receive the match result and scoreboard notification.
Guild Technology Points
We've also addressed an issue connected to players leaving a battle before its conclusion.
Because of this issue, guilds were not receiving the Guild Technology Points earned through player performance. These rewards will now be properly granted to the guild.
Guild Activity Requirements
We've introduced a new system that restricts State of War participation for guilds with Low or Very Low Guild Activity.
Guild activity will be checked once per week during the weekly summary. Going forward, guilds must have Medium Activity or higher to participate in State of War.
These changes are another step in continuing to develop State of War based on live battles and how the system is being used.
