The Transmutation Update Arrives September 17th!
Our Transmutation Equipment Update officially arrives September 17th, bringing a major equipment rebalance, the new Transmutation System, new materials, more stash space, a dedicated Currency Stash Tab, and a bunch of new ways to build your Champions.
This is one of our most exciting updates yet, and we’ll be sharing more details as we get closer to September 17th. For now, here’s a look at some of the major changes coming your way.
Equipment Rebalance
One of the biggest changes coming with this update is that Champions will now have base Attack Damage, Ability Power, and Healing Power.
These stats, along with Health, will increase as your Champion levels up throughout a raid. Equipment is being rebalanced around this system, with key stats like Attack Damage and Ability Power now scaling by percentage.
That means your equipment will continue to grow in value as your Champion gets stronger, making gear feel much more impactful throughout an entire raid.
We’re also introducing Equipment Tiers, meaning higher difficulties will reward stronger equipment drops. Because item strength now scales with the tier it drops in, we’re also increasing the chance for Epic, Legendary, and Mythic items to appear in lower difficulties like Bandit and Raider.
This means you’ll see more exciting high-rarity drops earlier on, while their actual power will still reflect the difficulty they were obtained in.
Transmutation System
You’ll soon have much more control over the gear you extract with.
The new Transmutation System allows you to:
Upgrade an item’s rarity
Reroll its stats and values
Transform equipment into powerful Chaos Items
Alongside the system, we’re introducing 7 new materials found throughout the game. These resources are used to improve your equipment and give you even more reason to make it out of a raid alive.
Successful extraction is about to become a lot more rewarding... and losing a backpack full of valuable materials might hurt a little more.
The Currency Tab Is REAL!!!!
Yes. It’s finally happening.
The Transmutation Update adds a dedicated Currency Stash Tab alongside stack splitting and four additional unlockable stash tabs.
We know this one has been longgg awaited. Your stash is about to get a whole lot easier to manage!
New Builds, Perks & Equipment
We’re also expanding the item, perk, and talent pool!
10 new Unique Items 25 new Perks 6 new Champion Talents
All of this means more build combinations, more playstyles, and more ways to customize your Champion around how you want to play.
