Hello, Salty Hounds players!
Following our recent systems overhaul, we're back with news of another update.
Patch v0.94 leads with expanded multilingual support—a long-standing request from our global community—alongside richer opening chapters for the main character routes, quality-of-life improvements including a more forgiving Fatigue system, and a range of bug fixes.
1. Official Support for 5 New Languages 🌐
Thanks to the continued support of players around the world who have asked to enjoy Salty Hounds in more languages, we have added official support for the following five languages:
Traditional Chinese (繁體中文)
Brazilian Portuguese (Português do Brasil)
Thai (ไทย)
Japanese (日本語)
German (Deutsch)

As a small indie development team, we face practical challenges in capturing every subtle nuance of each language. Even so, we're doing everything we can to offer players around the world an experience that feels natural and immersive.

2. Improvements to Existing Languages & Expanded Early Character Stories 🛠️
Story Enhancements: We refined and expanded the opening narratives and presentation of Seha, Junho, and Noru's routes to strengthen immersion and bring out each character's personality.
Full Translation and Script Review: We reviewed the story context and wording across all previously supported languages, including English and Simplified Chinese, and revised many lines to sound more natural.
3. More Forgiving Fatigue System & Gameplay Balance Adjustments 🛠️
New Activities to Manage Companion Fatigue: Added new interactions at the Shooting Range, Haeryang Security, and the Gym that let you reduce your companion's Fatigue.
Natural Weekend Recovery: Every weekend morning, the player and main NPCs now automatically recover a set amount of Fatigue, easing the pressure of schedule management.
4. UI / UX Quality-of-Life Improvements
Hotkey Guide Setting: You can now choose whether to show hotkey hints in Options.
Control and Presentation Polish: Improved directional scrolling in the dialogue log, cleaned up the empty TO DO list display, and made the dialogue-complete animation easier to see.
Improved Font Stability: Improved font-rendering stability on multilingual settings screens.
Added a language selection menu to the title screen and automatic system-language detection.
5. Quest and System Fixes
Fixed an issue that could prevent the Department Store Tour quest from completing in certain situations.
*Fixed a progression issue in Noru's paperwork event that occurs in the morning.
Adjusted the trigger conditions and interaction ranges for several character events.
Fixed other in-game text typos and one additional quest issue.
