Heart of the Machine Roundup
Update 84: War and Danger brings a wealth of balance changes, QoL and performance improvements, and some bug fixes. The main focus of this update looked at improving war performance, especially during large wars, where a large amount of popups would slow down between turn framerates. Now it is drawn in a more efficient way while still looking very close to what existed before. The other main focus was ensuring that during danger, the proper music was playing.

This update also makes some balance changes, like adding a new elusive perk to a variety of rare rebels, parkour bears, citizen advocates, and Vorsiber soldiers. Quality of life improvements were also made in this update; some of the standout changes include making it easier to tell when feral animals are being targeted within your view and the ability to rotate vehicles and mechs with the Z and C keys.

Update 85: Armor and Wallripping is the most recent update to come to Heart of the Machine and is full of updates to systems all around the game. General and game balance have received new balance updates with new, more balanced upgrade options for armor, new ways to steal neodymium, and several updates to memories. This update also adds some QoL around the investigation mechanic and various bug fixes.
