A huge thank you to everyone testing the ES2 VR Preview! It’s been great to see so much positivity and so many helpful reports and suggestions from the VR community.
Preview 2 brings a bunch of smaller and bigger fixes and improvements. It’s still a preview, so some things are missing (like proper VR characters), and a few things are still broken, (such as the Pirate Darkest 1 puzzle).
We’re working hard on the final polish, and the full VR release is coming very very soon!

Core fixes
Fixed bug where saving while NPC is opened would not properly load that NPC.
Fixed issue with underground item respawn system.
Fixed issue with syncing of item clones (sometimes cloned items would appear different from original).
Controller - Fixed issue where going back to theme selection would not allow navigation.
Controller - Pressing left while on leftmost level button goes back to pack selector.
VR fixes
Added visible player hands in multiplayer for players that play in VR (still missing proper VR player model).
Fixed items that are in other player hand not showing properly.
Fixed items placed in slots in multiplayer (items would be in the air).
Fixed bug where items would improperly save if VR zoom was opened.
Improved level finish screen.
Improved pinning and added ability to unpin other player's pinned item in multiplayer.
Added manual interaction support for all horizontal sliders.
Improved the shape of shoulder stash volume to prevent accidental inventory actions.
Added option to disable predefined item poses (for people that want ES1 experience).
Better organization of all the VR settings.
Key items are now highlighted different color to more easily see which item is a key item.
Better UI visibility in Lobby.
Improved teleporting logic and fixes some edge case issues.
Improved spawning orientation in many levels.
Added new "Turn" movement option that makes thumbstick only turn and nothing else.
Manual placing of jigsaw pieces is now improved.
Better popup dialog orientation when darkest level is finished.
Added new "Resolution Scale" option in VR tab (adjusts resolution).
Level fixes
Dracula 1 - Improved size in VR hand of book from the bag.
Dracula 2 - Better nav-mesh around the chair near fireplace.
Dracula 4 - 3 slider puzzle is now not finished until slider is released.
Dracula 4 - Slightly improved nav-mesh area to more easily access some puzzles in VR.
Space 3 - Vignette on elevator now respects player vignette settings.
Space 3 - Added better visibility for weak points puzzle.
Space Darkest 4 - Improved VR height and pieces interaction.
Pirate 3 - Better interaction with telescope.
Pirate 3 - Stone sun key is now marked as key item.
Pirate 3 - Added blockers for islands are not yet unlocked to prevent interactions.
Pirate 3 - Slightly improved nav-mesh area to more easily access some puzzles in VR.
