Hello, Pebble Knights! This update introduces new honey weapons that summon Bee Buddies to attack enemies for you, along with a devilish Electric Guitar that confuses nearby enemies. We have also made minions smarter, adjusted game balance, and fixed a wide range of bugs. Check out the full details below.
\[New Weapons]
Honey Dipper and Honey Gun
Added 'Honey Dipper,' a new melee weapon, and 'Honey Gun,' a new ranged weapon. Simply holding either weapon summons a Bee Buddy that attacks enemies for you.
Hitting an enemy with the Honey Dipper or Honey Gun applies Honey-Coated, making that enemy the bees' top priority!
Electric Guitar
Added the new 'Electric Guitar.' Its devilish music confuses nearby enemies.
The Electric Guitar now plays upbeat music when held or swung. Rock on! 🤘
\[New Legendary Trait]
Heaven's Wrath!
Added the new Legendary Trait 'Heaven's Wrath!' It continuously summons Bee Buddies and Hornet Buddies.
\[Minions]
Summoned buddies now follow their owner instead of standing still when there are no enemies to attack.
Reduced the maximum number of Weaponmons summoned by 'I Choose You!' from 2 to 1 and made them smaller.
'Hive Mind' now summons 3x as many minions, up from 2x.
Added summon sound effects for various minions.
\[Balance Changes]
Fixed an issue where damage from surface meteorites and other map hazards scaled too aggressively in the late game.
Increased the amount of time before Devil Weapons disappear, making them less likely to be lost.
Changed the activation condition for the 'Numb' Trait from hitting enemies to taking damage, and increased the number of times you need to take damage to trigger it.
\[Bug Fixes]
Improved Bots' combat behavior.
Fixed an issue where the player's aura effect would not display properly after acquiring the 'Doom Plague' Trait.
Fixed an issue where eating Poop could cause a Trait owned only once to be vomited out as two orbs.
Fixed an issue where the red notification dot would remain after viewing a new Trait in the Trait Menu.
Fixed an issue where the Flamethrower's sound effect and movement slowdown could persist after switching or dropping the weapon while firing.
Fixed an issue where status effect particles around the edges of the screen would remain visible after the UI was hidden.
Fixed an issue where the ending credits could get stuck after clearing surface DAY 15, preventing progression to the next screen.
Fixed an issue where status effect visuals were not visible for some players.
Fixed an issue where certain Traits could activate during the floor transition animation in the Underworld.
Fixed an issue where reward chests in Treasure Rooms could break too early during the transition into the Underworld.
Fixed an issue where being launched immediately after death could trigger 'Light of Salvation.'
Squashed Bot companions can no longer pick up items, matching player behavior.
Fixed another issue where Weaponmons could collide with players.
Fixed an issue where a Bomb Buddy's self-destruction increased the kill count on the results screen even when no enemies were defeated.
Fixed an issue where some execution effects appeared excessively large.
Fixed an issue where a gold ascension line was incorrectly displayed on upgraded Traits in the Random Grade Ascension Challenge.
The 'Camp Halo' Angel Buff now only appears in the Underworld.
Fixed an issue where players could interact with Bot Controls in the lobby while the Trait Menu was open.
Fixed an issue where 'Nearsighted' could occasionally fail to activate.
'Celestial Forging' now also triggers for 'Weapon Master.'
\[Sound]
Added a sound effect to the vomiting animation.
Added a sound effect when honey floor effects appear.
Added sound effects when 'Unholy Crap' and 'Giant Eyeball' burst.
Added a sound effect to Returned Skullpang's clock-rewind animation.
Increased the volume of enemy hit sounds.
