WELCOME, CURATORS! It's been too long, how are you? Dust off your display cabinets, straighten your velvet ropes and please refrain from licking the glass - the latest BOXROOM major update has arrived!
This time, we’re digging through the cardboard boxes of Steam library history and putting curious contents on display. Build your own miniature museum, create a deeply questionable collection of things in fancy glass cabinets that you insist are historically significant.
The new Museum Catalogue is packed with items to help transform your room into a tiny temple of history, culture and exceptionally organised clutter. Display your treasured possessions, scale exhibits to suit your vision and even paint the ceiling with any material you like. The Sistine Chapel had better watch its back.
You can also create custom labels for your exhibitions! Add useful information, tell the story behind an artefact or claim an ordinary chair once belonged to medieval royalty. You wrote the label, so it must be true.

Features
The Museum Catalogue: A new catalogue packed with museum-themed items for building your own exhibitions and displaying your most culturally significant clutter.
Custom Labels: Some items can now function as labels. Simply interact with one to type your own message - whether that’s useful historical context or complete and utter nonsense is entirely up to you.
Paintable Ceilings: Ceilings can now be painted with any material type. Look up! That previously neglected cobwebbed covered surface is finally part of your creative vision.
Scalable Items: You can now scale items as you place them. Check the control hint to see how and please use your newfound power responsibly.
Customisable Game Boxes: The colour of a game box can now be adjusted through the inspection menu.
Boxes Can Lie Down: Game boxes can now be placed flat on shelves using Free Placement Mode. They’ve been standing up for long enough.
Custom Material Mod Support: Mods can now include custom materials. These materials have no filtering and can be applied to any object that supports material changes. Wood ceilings? A room covered entirely in carpet? We won’t stop you…well, the item might if it doesn’t support it.
Save-Specific Time of Day: Your custom time-of-day setting is now stored separately for each save file rather than being applied globally. Theres no joke for this, its just what it is.
Bug Fix Highlights
The Object Tweener now works correctly with scaled objects.
Boxes can now contain more than three screenshots.
The missing search menu has been added to CD Boxes. It was presumably filed in the wrong exhibit.
