VSS-M
The newest gun is the VSS-M: an integrally suppressed marksman rifle. It can be switched to fully automatic for close quarter, but it's high rate of fire will run out of ammo quickly. It’s available now to unlock in VAIL Combat and in the Extraction Skill tree. It also has 20 progression skins. If you want to try it out before unlocking it, you can find it in the Social Hub, in Extraction matches, and at the shooting range weapon spawner.
Tube
Tube is the latest Training Grounds map. Set in an underground supply metro near Miru, you’ll have to fight off enemies with nothing but your knife. Get ready for knife-only madness!
2v2
We swapped out 1v1 for 2v2. Party up with a friend and queue up to see who’s the better duo, or queue up with randoms to find your new best friend!
Supply Crates
Supply Crates are the newest way to get skins and other rewards. Each crate grants three rewards including all of the same skins available in Supply Capsules, ORE, Extraction Gear, and consumables such as double XP tokens and gear tokens. No matter what, you are guaranteed at least 1 cosmetic, with a high likelihood of getting 2 or even 3 cosmetics in each crate. We also plan to expand crates with cosmetics that are exclusive to the Supply Crates.
And the best part, these Crates can be earned by simply playing the game. At the end of each match, you’ll now be presented with a reward wheel with a chance to earn Crates and ORE, and if you own VAIL Combat you’ll get better rewards. After earning a crate, you can open it by purchasing a key. And we’re granting one free legendary key to all players as part of this update.
