SURVIVOR MISSIONS IV
Early Access Update #14 - v0.17 Notes
New Survivor Missions
Added new survivor missions:
Frank
Candy
Hudson
If you're a returning player and want to jump straight into the new Survivor Missions, they will trigger if you have the survivor (Candy, Hudson, Frank) in the shelter for more than one phase and six total phases have passed (for Candy and Frank) or seven total phases have passed (for Hudson).

Adjustments
Added "Kill all threats to move in" to the Map location info panel when players have selected a Potential Shelter location.
Friendly NPCs (like Isaiah during Joe's survivor mission) are now invulnerable to a survivor's ranged weapons and throwables. Throwables like bricks should not make contact with them. Damage-dealing throwables like grenades should also no longer deal damage (although the NPC might still react to it). This was part of a fix to a bug where Isaiah would become unresponsive during Joe's mission.
All survivors and NPCs should now have flipped versions of their portraits. Consistency is key.
Updated some cover points in various locations so that they aren't as deep, to better influence zombie line-of-sight.
Improved the SFX for head-stomps.
Reinstated the hover state on items in inventory screens. When players hover over an item in the inventory, the item will show a yellow outline around it.
Adjusted the grenade's damage so that it does less damage if the thrower is further away from the center of the blast.
Removed lead-in time for the icon animation that plays when a stealth kill becomes possible, to allow players to react faster.
Updated SFX for the zombie banging on the window at the start of the 9th Precinct Station, so that it sounds more like glass.
Moved the truck on Route 93 as it was causing survivors to get stuck.
Made it so Bowman's dog tag is no longer gained when he is evicted. It is now only obtainable by killing him.
Added new tutorial events and adjusted some existing ones.
Reduced the chance of the deep wound that Vince has on recruitment causing him to turn.
Adjusted a few translations in Simplified Chinese to use more consistent language around Hunger and the Trapping Station.
Adjusted the Load Game screen character portraits to all face the same way.
Adjusted the stealth kill animations for several weapons to be at the right distance.
Audio now pauses when the Pause screen is open.
Enacted a texture optimization pass on survivor textures, zombie textures, and textures in locations (props, buildings, etc). This should save memory!
Visual optimization and improvements.
Bumped version number to 0.17.
Fixes
Fixed an issue where, if a survivor returns from scavenging but dies during the phase change due to other reasons, the items they brought back don’t show in the Day Log.
Fixed some missing walls in locations.
Fixed an issue where survivors could throw throwables through the wall above the front door of Value Records.
Fixed an issue where, if a survivor were to hang off a caravan just before meeting Candy, their hands don't visibly touch the caravan in the Queens O' Country Festival location. The zombie on top of the tower in that location has also been removed as it wasn't behaving correctly.
Fixed some issues where text would truncate or overflow weirdly in Large Text mode on the tutorial prompts and epilogues.
Fixed an issue where some large football zombies were missing in Pickett Stadium. Increased the number of football themed zombies in that location in general.
Fixed an issue where the cuffed zombie in Hao's mission at Victory Meat Processing was using the wrong zombie visual.
Glass shatter SFX now plays during the conversation with Bowman instead of after it.
Fixed an issue where pushing a zombie into the door that survivors can crawl under in Keyline Storage could cause it to get stuck.
Fixed an issue where pushing a zombie under the airplane in Fairwind Airfield could cause it to get stuck.
Fixed an issue where dropping from the hole on the roof in Briarwood Motel could cause survivors to teleport back to the spot below it when they stop moving.
Fixed an issue where zombies can be heard in the basement in RM&K Communications even though they should be too far away.
Fixed an issue where outside zombies can be heard too loudly from inside the building in Chiefways Distillation Towers.
Fixed an issue where the transition from exiting the garage to the outdoors at Auteur Video was sounding too abrupt.
Fixed an issue where a collision was missing on a closed window at 22 Springwood Drive.

Fixed an issue where the Rage trait was not triggering with all attacks.
Potentially fixed a bunch of issues that could cause Isaiah to get stuck during Joe's survivor mission. Let us know if this is still happening to you.
Fixed an issue where survivors are sometimes unable to loot the hazmat suit from the hazmat zombie at Mitchum Powell Plaza. Note that this only works for new saves and not if it's already broken in existing ones.
Fixed an issue where Candy's Sleep need is mislabeled as Hunger.
Fixed some hair issues where some survivors were greying from the tips instead of from the roots.
Fixed some issues with noise throwables so that they can still generate noise if survivors throw them against walls or into stairwells.

Fixed areas in Jay's Motel and Mitchum Powell Plaza where throwables would not pass through.
Fixed missing line-of sight-filter in the Abandoned Kosyaire Factory.
