Hey guys, it’s been a hot minute since the last patch as September’s Rooftop Farming update grows closer and closer. That patch was intended to bring a couple of improvements and quality of life players have asked for for a while, but, I’ve decided to push them early.
Improvements
All shelves can now be configured to set dedicated items on them for the Cleaners to follow. If this is not set, Cleaners will treat that shelf as usual and try to infer what should be on there based on current contents. The game will now keep track of ‘known items’ so as you interact with more items, those items will appear in the shelf configuration.
When hovering over a shelf you can now see what the Cleaners will infer to place on it based on its contents. This should hopefully give a bit more clarity on why certain items are placed where they are.
Cleaners will now take loose items from the Warehouse to shelves that are dedicated to that item. If you would like to store items in the Warehouse you can store them on a dedicated shelf in there, in a storage crate, on a pallet or on the Crafting Station.
Items fallen off a shelf but still near it will now be considered for Cleaners’ organisation.
Long grass foliage has been added around the map. This can be fully disabled in the Settings.
Faint outlines will now appear on nearby items or bodies to help players see them when on the ground, at night time, in the fog or in the new grass. This can be fully disabled in the Settings.
Carpets and rugs will no longer play collision audio when secured to the floor.
Bug Fixes
Fixed a physics issue that caused staff members to get stuck in the ground or ceiling near the job board.
Fixed an issue causing mobs to get permanently stuck when knocked off the navigable floor.
Fixed an issue causing Security staff from endlessly ping ponging when directed to refill turrets.
Fixed an issue causing the Hellraid Steam achievements from not unlocking. These should now retroactively unlock when you open the game if you have beaten the requirement.
The Keybindings settings tab will now be fully localized again.
Changes
Base player movement speed has been increased by 25%.
