Anomaly Zone Renovation Update

Stalkers!

A new update has been deployed to the Anomaly Zone Renovation server. It includes new mechanics, balance changes, faction progression, a cooking system, new quests, trading changes, story quest fixes, and localization improvements.

New Mechanics

“Campfire” Mechanic

Cooking

• Added a fully-fledged cooking system using a campfire.

• Added the Cooking skill.

• Added a Fire Starting Kit.

• Added the “Field Crafting” mechanic (P key).

• The following items have been moved from the Workbench to Field Crafting:

  • Molotov Cocktail;

  • Old Pills.

• Added crafting of Vials and Injectors with Nerve Stimulant and Energy Drink to the Workbench.

Alex Boltun

Located near the Raven Forest bunker.

Added new reputation-change quests for:

• Filin.

To unlock the ability to change your reputation, you must first complete the following Raven Forest quests:

• Captain Sperling;

• Buch;

• Kich;

• Tackleberry.

Sashka Boltun

Located at the Radio Tower.

Added new reputation-change quests for:

• Renegades;

• Scavenger.

To unlock the ability to change your reputation, you must first complete the following Radio Tower quests:

• Viktor Shizov;

• Morse;

• Dipole;

• Bolyazny.

Old Exchanger

Added a new NPC — Old Exchanger.

• A Basket of Wild Strawberries can now be exchanged for Wild Strawberries and a Basket.

Story Quests

Gourmet’s Village — “Morozov’s Package”

The requirements for the dialogue with Alex Boltun have been changed.

Access to the required dialogue now requires 2,000 reputation with the Military. Completing the previous quests is no longer required.

“Lomov’s Report”

• Fixed the quest turn-in for players who already had “Lomov’s Report” active.

• The Boyarsky–Lomov questline has been temporarily suspended for rebalancing and necessary adjustments.

Other Story Changes

• All recommendations have been removed.

• Krasnov’s multi-day quest involving the delivery of Spider legs has been retained, but the recommendations have been removed and the quest itself has been reworked.

• Fixed outdated story dialogues and typos for:

  • Eisenstein;

  • Selevtovich;

  • Mokruh;

  • Kisly;

  • Zayats;

  • Byvaly;

  • Dibenko.

These recommendations will be exchangeable for Trade Points in upcoming updates.

Trading and Exchanges

• Removed the Basket of Wild Strawberries crafting recipe.

• Removed exchanges from several traders.

Gourmet’s Village — Weapons Trader

Removed exchanges:

Removed from sale:

• AK-74 Modification Kit.

The kit can be turned in for its full purchase price.

Imarek — “Baryga” NPC

Healer’s Camp

The SVD exchange has been changed:

• The “Evil” artifact has been replaced with four Level 2 “Shield B” artifacts.

Added the ability to level up factions.

Faction experience can be earned by:

• Capturing and defending bases and fortified positions;

• Being the first to collect the “Shell,” “Vesuvius,” and “Guide” artifacts.

• Reworked the faction interface.

Clan quests are planned for future updates.

• Increased base movement speed by 0.5.

• Reduced jump height by 20%.

• Adjusted grenade and stone throwing.

• Adjusted MK48 accuracy and damage.

Interface

• Added information displaying:

  • Number of available weapon and equipment repairs;

  • Weapon and equipment durability.

• Fixed the red texture that appeared when minimizing the minimap.

• Fixed the “Fire” debuff icon.
