Thanks everyone for all the feedback about the game and Endless Mode.
Watching your scores, builds, and all the creative ways you're finding to completely break the game has been absolute gold for me.
I know that Endless Mode currently runs into technical and performance problems at very high waves. Together with our new programmer, we're working on several more complex solutions to improve performance.
Crashes at very high Endless waves are also often connected to these performance issues. This update should already help in some cases. Additionally, your Endless Mode save is now preserved if you quit or crash, allowing you to continue from the beginning of your last Endless wave.

I've also added the option to Abandon Crusade. If you decide you don't want to continue your current run, you can now end it and receive the meta-resources you've earned without having to intentionally die first.
I also made another iteration on gamepad navigation in the HUB, and I think it feels significantly better now. Let me know what you think about the changes and where the controls still feel awkward or not quite right.
Endless Mode has also helped me identify that not every damage calculation currently works as intended. Fixes related to this will most likely arrive next week.
Depending on how much these changes affect existing builds and their potential, I may move the current leaderboard into a separate archived category and start a fresh leaderboard.
I'll keep you updated on this before any changes are made.
