Tonight we're introducing the results of some hard work diagnosing and resolving some common feedback. The updated build is live on Steam now. Please be sure to screen-record any replays you've saved that you want to preserve forever before downloading this update, as it and nearly all future updates will render existing replays obsolete.

GENERAL:

Improved GPU Performance overall. Framerate with standard graphics and performance mode should be improved.
Decreased the difficulty of the Final Event in Arcade Mode.
Fixed a crash that affected players that had rules saved from a backer version of the game.
Fixed various issues with desyncs both online and in replays.
Fixed an issue affecting Teams in Private Lobbies.
Fixed Screen-ko SFX not playing.
Various QOL improvements.

CHARACTER ADJUSTMENTS:

Oliver Twist:

Fixed an issue that prevented crouching on platforms.
Fixed an issue with hit registration on spikes on Oliver’s Target Test stage.

Lancelot:

Fixed a crash that could be caused by Zeus’ Lightning.

Quick Brown Fox:

Fixed a bug that caused Ground Special to always use its knockback for air opponents rather than using a separate knockback type for grounded opponents.
Allowed the use of Wavedash button to cancel Ground Special.

Big Bad Wolf:

Allowed the use of Wavedash button to cancel Ground Special.

Initially we considered allowing the Wavedash button to be used to cancel these jump-cancelable moves but decided against it. Based on feedback this wasn’t intuitive, so we’ll now allow it.
