A major new update has arrived in Revenge of the Mage!
With this update, we're bringing new content, major performance improvements, smoother combat, and a wide range of gameplay improvements and fixes.
We've been working hard behind the scenes to make your journey through the Multiverse smoother, faster, and more enjoyable.
And this is just the beginning!
🏴☠️ New Pirate Multiverse
A brand-new Pirate-themed Multiverse has been added to the game!
Explore this new world, fight dangerous enemies, and discover what awaits you in this mysterious realm.
🇯🇵 Japanese Language Support
Japanese language support is now available in the game!
We'll continue working on localization in future updates and do our best to bring more languages to the game.
📈 More Engaging XP System
Enemies now drop XP orbs when defeated.
Collect them during your runs to level up your Mage and grow stronger as you progress through the Multiverses.
💨 Faster & More Responsive Combat
We've made melee combat significantly faster and smoother.
The pre-attack delay has been reduced from 0.3 seconds to 0.05 seconds.
We also fixed an issue where a single melee attack could accidentally damage the same enemy multiple times.
Melee combat should now feel much faster, smoother, and more responsive!
🚀 Performance & Optimization
We've made major improvements to the game's overall performance.
These improvements allow us to have significantly more enemies on screen at once, giving you a much smoother experience during intense battles.
🔊 Improved Sound System
We've completely revamped the sound settings and fixed various audio-related issues.
Sounds should now work more consistently and properly throughout the game.
💰 Gold Chests
Gold Chests have been added to the game!
Discover them during your runs and get new opportunities to collect valuable rewards.
💎 Gem Crystals
Gem Crystals now drop multiple gems instead of just one when destroyed.
Break more crystals and collect more gems!
🛠️ Bug Fixes & Improvements
We've also fixed a number of gameplay issues in this update:
Language Issue: Fixed an issue causing item descriptions in Russian and Chinese to appear as broken symbols.
Lightning Mage – Stormcage: Fixed unwanted visual issues with the Stormcage ability.
Ice Mage – FrostboundBlink: Fixed an issue where the teleport location would sometimes fail to update.
Blackhole: Fixed an issue where Blackhole would attempt to pull in dead enemies.
Multiverse Difficulty System: Fixed a critical issue that could cause the game to crash when the difficulty timer reached its final level.
Melee Combat: Fixed an issue where a single attack could hit the same enemy multiple times.
Pyramid Enemies: Fixed an issue where Shield enemies would sometimes fail to deal damage.
Exploding Enemies: Fixed an issue where exploding enemies could get stuck in their explosion animation instead of properly disappearing after death.
