News and Notes:

Quests and Instances

• Additional Delving monsters in Cardolan & Swanfleet once again utilize Delving skills appropriately.

• Pagru-kirít, the Garden of Corpses

  • Ushkudâsh health reduced by ~3%.

  • The number of Echo of Nuzêru kills needed to end Song of Nuzêru has been reduced from 8 to 6.

  • The Protection hotspot during Song of Nuzêru now dispels Twisting Shadows damage.

Items and Rewards

• Adjustments to the Pelennor Instance Cluster gear rewards

  • Armour dropped in the Pelennor Instances, Blood of the Black Serpent, The Quays of the Harlond, and The Silent Street, can now be disenchanted for Battle of Pelennor Armour Tokens.

  • The Pelennor Battle Reward barter vendor will now accept these tokens plus Morgul Crests in exchange for corresponding Pelennor Instance armour pieces appropriate for level 105 characters. This now also includes Brawler and Mariner gear.

  • Grave-dusted Boxes, Trampled Boxes, and Waterlogged Boxes, which could not be acquired, are no longer listed for barter.

  • Rates of gear drops from the Pelennor Instance Cluster non-challenge chests, when run at level 105, have been increased.

  • Gear and level 105 essences will no longer drop from the Pelennor Instance Cluster non-challenge chests when run above level 120.

  • The Pelennor Instance Cluster chests have been renamed so they can be more easily distinguished.

• The Rivendell Kitchen and Oven housing decorations can now be used to cook campfire foods

• Rivendell housing chair decoration can now be used with the /sit emote.

• Kinta chairs are now usable by Stout-axes and River Hobbits.

Classes and Skills

• Champion

  • Continuous Blood Rage once again correctly reduces Power costs, rather than increasing them.

  • Sprint's cooldown in PvMP has been increased from 20s to 30s.

PvMP

• Legendary necklaces and pocket items found in the Delving of Frór will now drop at the appropriate item level, and any existing drops will be updated to item level 580 when logging into the character bearing them.

• Sorceress

  • Fixed some outstanding effect stacking issues. DoTs should stack 1x per caster, while buffs and debuffs should allow only 1x per target. As a note, this should fix some problems with effect tier ups not working or working inconsistently.

  • Prepared skills no longer disappear upon death.

  • Conflagrate's damaging area size has been reduced from 12m radius to 7m radius.

  • Sorceress Synergy effects are now named on their corresponding skill tooltips, and the tier up mechanic from Mastery traits has been rewritten slightly to improve clarity.

  • Withered Arm effect durations have been reduced to 3s, and their potencies have been halved.

  • Fixed some incorrect AoE shapes on ice pillar and fire fumarole AoE effects.

  • Glaciate no longer has an induction.

  • Studied Spike and Breath skills no longer deal extremely reduced damage when studied in Sorceress Study slots 2 or 3.

  • Corrected some issues with the Dread Summons trait description.

• Siege

  • Fixed explosive ballistae firing AoEs that were generating additional AoEs per target - ballistae now target a single player and fire AoEs centered on only that individual.

  • Explosive ballista projectiles now explode immediately upon impact.

  • Ballista tar now lasts a little longer.

• Fixing a stuck spot in Gwaelug's arena in the delving of Frór.

• PvMP Essence of the Aurochs tooltip has been fixed, and now shows its intended bonuses.

• PvMP Essence of the Eagle cooldown increased from 5s to 8s.

• Fixed an issue with lesser PvMP CC-break potions (the ones that cost Morale to use). These now correctly confer brief CC immunity to the player when used.

• Improved PvMP stun & root potions (that don't cost Morale to use) are now "rare" to better differentiate them at a glance in your inventory and on your hotbars.

• Players will now be unable to attempt to pick up an Artifact while carrying a Relic, and vice versa.

• Picking up your own team’s artifact from the ground will no longer improperly bestow your team’s buff.

• Artifacts will no longer transform into relics when picked up by their own team.
