Dear players, Thank you so much for your patience and understanding all this time. This time, I’d like to give you an update on two fronts: development progress and what’s been going on this past year.

First, the development progress on Eve of Soul:

[p align="start"]Back when I last reported, Chapter 4 was at about 15% completion. Now I’d say it's around 70% — that includes most of 4-0, 4-1, and 4-2.

[p align="start"]After that, the remaining part is 4-3, which is the climax + ending section of Chapter 4.

[p align="start"]I've revised the script several times and now have a version I'm pretty satisfied with – hopefully I can turn that vision into reality smoothly!

On the overall story:

[p align="start"]I've rethought how the endings will play out and how you unlock them. Right now I'm planning 3 official endings.

[p align="start"](and maybe 4 if my productivity allows)

[p align="start"]The ending route will mainly depend on Xia's overall behavioral tendencies – for example, whether she's active or just sleeps in after coming home each day, whether she actively looks for "hidden" areas in dreams, how she interacts with key characters, etc.

[p align="start"](Yes, it's somewhat inspired by Sil** Hill – but my system will be more forgiving, so you won't be locked out of your preferred ending just because you missed something or made small mistakes.)

Some in‑development scene previews (minor spoilers):

Another side note:

Due to contractual reasons, we regret to say that we've parted ways with our original publisher earlier this year. From now on, we'll have to handle promotion, translation, and other related tasks on our own. That said, this doesn't affect the actual game development itself. However, future announcements, translations, and discount events might feel a bit less polished, and we're really sorry about that.

Now, a timeline of what happened this past year:

[p align="start"]April – July last year: I gradually adjusted my medication and got a CPAP machine for sleep. The symptoms caused by sleep issues improved a lot. (Before that, due to physical and medication problems, my sleep apnea was severe – I even had pauses of up to 71 seconds without realizing it, but I hadn't taken it seriously.)

[p align="start"]July – August last year: With my condition getting better, I tried restarting development on Eve of Soul. I polished the script and finished the entire 4-1 area.

[p align="start"]August last year – March this year: But then, for various reasons (work resuming, family stuff, etc.), my symptoms suddenly worsened twice, quite badly. I had to pause development again and increase the frequency of my hospital visits and treatments to try and recover.

[p align="start"]March this year: With the introduction of a new medication, my doctor put me on it, and my condition started improving again – a real medical miracle!

[p align="start"]June – July this year: Under my doctor's guidance, I started planning the development schedule for Eve of Soul again. Over the past month or so, I've managed to stay relatively productive! I've finished a big chunk of 4-2. (Though on average I only work 3–4 days a week, about 50 minutes each session – but I try to block out all distractions during those sessions so every minute actually counts.)

[p align="start"]That said, some warning signs have come back (after a few months, I recently woke up screaming from nightmares after only two hours of sleep). I'm discussing this with my doctor now, hoping to keep developing without making things worse – even if it means slowing down the pace.

Final Thanks

To all players who've waited, cared, supported, or criticized during this period - thank you from the bottom of my heart again. Love you all. ❤

(I used translator this time, this announcment might looks a little bit weird, Tell me if it truely is. Thank you for forgiving!)
