What's good out there, cultists,
A little over two weeks have passed since we started the Burger Cult, and it's time to reflect on the launch and outline what crooked burger-flippin', cult-sustainin' things we'll attempt next.
I. Upcoming Updates
Fresh Batch, Coming Right Up
We want to extend another huge "Thank ya" to our community for the feedback that helps us improve HHBC for you all. Right now, the next patch is in the oven. Here are the details (subject ot change):
Actual fixes and additions:
- Lobby safeguarding | blocks entry into lobbies without Steam (cheat/exploit path)
- Network hardening for players duping Steam connections
- PurrNet update + versioning (this is mostly internal, but translates to better online feeling overall)
- Major performance overhauls in all scenes
- Misc general fixes
- Community requests and feedback (keybinding, volume, etc)
Planned for the future:
- Cosmetic overhaul
- Daily challenges
- A new appliance or two
In addition, we're starting work on a free content update. Look, I can't give you much info on it at this point, other than that there's a new mode in the works... Maybe? So for now, stay tuned for the details. Until then, we'll keep cookin'.
Last but not least, since our game and the Hello Neighbor franchise (which you may or may not have heard of) have the same publisher, tinyBuild, we'll be adding these creepy-ass Neighbor cosmetics to the game soon as a crossover:

II. Community Contest: "Design Thy Vessel"

Congratulations! We'll add these designs to the game soon. Can't tell you when exactly - making the 3D models will take some time. We'll let you know when it happens. Thanks again to everybody who participated in the contest for your incredibly awesome submissions.
I'm sure most of you know that you can customize your cultist by putting a creepy ass bag on their head - or making them wear dope-looking capes like they were superheroes or something.
Anyhow, we decided to start a contest and have our players come up with two community-made cosmetics - a HEAD BAG and a CAPE. Here are the details:
- Duration: June 31st - August 14th
- Who can participate: absolutely freakin' EVERYBODY!
- Prizes: a game of your choosing from tinyBuild's Steam portfolio, and the fact that your cosmetic will be added to the game
RULES:
- Multiple submissions from one contestant are allowed
- It’s allowed to submit both drawings/mockups and written descriptions of designs; drawings/mockups will be prioritized, though.
- Share drawings/mockups in the Artwork section of the game's hub; add "Community Cosmetics Contest" in the description. Alternatively, you can upload your work to a file-hosting service and DM the link to Antishyr (me, lol.) Uber-alternatively, you can toss your design on our Discord.

- The contest concludes on August 14 at 18:00 CET / 9:00 am PDT / 12:00 pm EDT. As soon as it ends, we will select the best community idea(s) based on creativity, uniqueness, and if a design suits the game's art direction.
