Noble Lombard Campaign
Join the new Noble Lombard campaign from August 3 through September 7 and receive a ton of rewards, including crates, camouflages, and useful resources! Complete it with the Admiralty Backing to receive even more, including the final prize: Italian Tier VIII Premium cruiser Ferrante Gonzaga. This new ship features rapid-firing guns with HE and SAP shells, powerful torpedoes, high speed, and an effective set of consumables that includes Repair Party, Engine Boost, and Exhaust Smoke Generator.
To receive Ferrante Gonzaga, you'll need to obtain Admiralty Backing and complete the campaign's 100 milestones over 5 weeks of missions. As always, you can catch up on missed challenges using a special built-in mechanic. You can also complete challenges by playing Modern Era battles in addition to the usual battle types. Our seventh anniversary is all about exploration and treasure hunting. Adventure is calling!
Mariner's Coins
Join multiple themed activities throughout the upcoming update to earn Mariner's Coins—a currency you can exchange for many different rewards. These include two new ships: Soviet Tier V Premium battleship Novorossiysk and Spanish Tier VIII Premium cruiser Almirante Oquendo. You can also spend Mariner's Coins on one of three rare ships—Dalian, Navarin, or Tulsa—as well as ship skins, anniversary crates, and a new Commander guise. Explorer's Chest
Another birthday treat is the new Explorer's Chest, which gives you a chance to receive an item from some of the best events of past years, including Halloween, Golden Week, Black Friday, Pirates, Roman Empire, and more. You can also find another crate inside: a Grand Explorer's Chest, which can drop new German Legendary Tier battleship Mecklenburg, exclusive golden ships, or a stash of doubloons! You'll find Explorer's Chests in various activities during the update.
New Calendar: Where the Maps End
Complete the new birthday Calendar from August 3 through September 7 to earn plenty of rewards, including an Explorer's Chest, anniversary crates, Mariner's Coins, Ship Parts for the Thunderer marathon, and an adventurer Commander guise—Edwin Remington.
Birthday Bureau Project
Check out the time-limited Birthday Bureau Project! You can only start it from August 3 through September 7, but once you do, it will remain available for a long time afterward, like any other Bureau Project. Complete it to receive rewards from some of our best past events, including Halloween, New Year, and more!
Treasure Hunt '26 Web Event
Starting August 3, be sure to join the Treasure Hunt—our new birthday web event! Choose spots to dig for treasure and receive a gift with each try. Across all 28 spots, you can receive a total of 3x Explorer's Chests, plus a super prize for digging up every spot: 500 Mariner's Coins. You'll get one free try daily, and you can purchase additional tries with credits. We'll share the link to the event page and reveal more details in a dedicated article coming out on Monday.

Modern Era is arriving on August 3! Choose your side in the faction war and battle aboard modern ships equipped with guided missiles and other unique armament. Play, upgrade ships, and earn rewards, including the final one—a new Commonwealth cruiser in the winning faction's colors. Full Release of the U.S. Alternative Destroyer Line
The U.S. alternative destroyer line will appear in the Tech Tree starting August 3: Tier V Kane, Tier VI Hughes, Tier VII Osborne, and Tier VIII Christopher. Research the new ships and make the most of their Advanced Radar, which features a unique passive effect that reveals enemy positions on your Minimap within its range, even if they have not yet been spotted.
New Bureau Project: Aki
Japanese Legendary Tier battleship Aki will become available as a Bureau Project starting August 3. Aki is a hybrid battleship equipped with long-range, highly accurate Yamato-class guns—among the most dangerous in the game. Her Airstrike drops 12 torpedoes, giving her enough area-control power to effectively prevent enemies from capturing an area. Like all Japanese hybrid battleships, she has low speed and rather modest concealment, but she makes up for these drawbacks with a very high HP pool.
New Ship for Steel: Franklin D. Roosevelt
New U.S. Legendary Tier aircraft carrier Franklin D. Roosevelt is arriving for Steel on August 3! This ship is equipped with massive attack squadrons that attack in pairs, with each plane carrying either four high-damage bombs or four torpedoes. You'll find Franklin D. Roosevelt in the Forge section of the Store. She'll remain available indefinitely, even after the update ends.
If you need more Steel, here's where you can earn it during this update:
Steel Hunter mission, resetting daily (August 3–10): Up to 200 Steel daily, up to 1,400 Steel total
Ranked Seasons 107, 108, and 109: Up to 7,200 Steel total
Noble Lombard campaign: Up to 250 Steel weekly through Endless Trials, which unlock after completing the campaign with the Admiralty Backing. If you buy out the campaign on day 1 and complete all Endless Trials, you can get up to 1,250 Steel total
Premium Supplies mission for Premium ships, resetting weekly: Up to 750 Steel total
Thunderer Marathon: Final Stage
The last stage of the marathon will run from August 3 through September 7—don't miss your chance to get British Legendary Tier battleship Thunderer! During the upcoming update, you'll find Ship Parts via the following sources:
Noble Lombard campaign: 2,000 Ship Parts without the Admiralty Backing and an additional 4,000 Ship Parts with the Admiralty Backing.
"Where the Maps End" Calendar: 1,000 Ship Parts.
Weekly Assignments: Up to 3,000 Ship Parts in total.
Bonus for purchasing doubloons in the Store: Up to 11,000 Ship Parts. Starting August 3, you'll automatically receive four free coupons. Apply them when purchasing doubloons to get a bonus: 1,000 Ship Parts for purchases of 1,250 to 2,750 doubloons; 2,000 Ship Parts for purchases of 5,625 to 11,500 doubloons; 3,000 Ship Parts for purchases of 20,500 to 30,000 doubloons; and 5,000 Ship Parts for purchases of 47,000 doubloons or the Warchest. Each coupon can be used only once.
Note: Ship Parts are always free (including those granted as a bonus alongside bundles from the Store), so any unused Ship Parts will expire without compensation after the marathon ends.
Azur Lane: All Seven Waves Return
From August 3 to September 7, Azur Lane returns to Legends with content from all seven waves! Don't miss your chance to obtain your favorite Commanders, ships, and skins in the Store and "Azur Lane Crate: Ultimate IV." Big bundles will also include special missions rewarding Commander Progression Items.
Complete the Operation Storm Surge mission from August 3 to September 7 to earn 1x "Azur Lane Crate: Ultimate IV," Siren camouflages, and Commander Progression Items.

Ranked Battles: Seasons 107–109
Three new Ranked Battles seasons are coming, featuring 3v3 battles and double the usual Steel income, along with other rewards! Here are the basic details for each season:
Season 107: August 4–10; only Tier VI ships, no more than one destroyer per team
Season 108: August 18–24; only Tier VII ships, no aircraft carriers, no more than one destroyer per team
Season 109: September 1–7; only Tier VIII ships, no more than one destroyer per team

Obon Festival Event in the Store
From August 10 through August 24, visit the Store for a special section dedicated to Obon, the traditional Japanese festival honoring the spirits of ancestors. Fall Is Coming: More Discounts

Japanese Battleship Kawachi Arriving to the Store
Starting August 3, another ship will become available in the Store: Japanese Tier III Premium battleship Kawachi. She was the first dreadnought of the Imperial Japanese Navy and will make a great addition to your ship collection. Note that Kawachi will be buffed starting with this update. Changes include a faster main battery reload, improved shell dispersion, and better AP shell penetration.
Pan-American Commander Crate Arriving to the Store
Check the weekly offers in the Store from August 10 through August 17 to find the new Pan-American Commander crate. It can drop one of the following Pan-American Commanders: Manuel P. Martinez, Henrique Fernandes, Pedro Lima Santos, or Joaquim Marques Lisboa.
Major Visual Upgrade of Maps and Ports
The upcoming update brings a major visual overhaul to all maps and Ports! We've made waves look more realistic and improved the overall appearance of water, allowing light to pass through the surface more naturally for a richer, more immersive experience. We've also updated lighting and colors across various environments. These changes won't affect gameplay or performance, but they will make every battle feel more cinematic and alive. The visual upgrade will apply to all platforms: console, PC, and mobile.
Balance Changes
Balance changes are coming for a number of Premium and Tech Tree ships, as well as Italian destroyer Commander Luigi Rizzo. We've also decided to slightly adjust battle earnings for several ships, as well as credit and XP earnings from secondary battery hits and plane shootdowns. Improvements and Bug Fixes
All platforms
A number of Commander guises now grant daily bonuses: Ominous Rider, Anthony Darby, Ella Rossi, Hiss Laessar, Vohlda O, Elke Stahl, High Admiral Malachar, Zeus Olympian, Poseidon Earthshaker, and Athena Promachos.
For Suwo and Dewa, fixed incorrectly calculated AA defense stats on the Specs tab. This change doesn't affect these ships' performance.
Updated the collision alarm sound to make it less distracting.
Fixed a bug in Fleet Cup where it was impossible to view players' Commanders in the team overview.
Fixed an issue where the Commander guise displayed after opening the guise menu didn't match the one currently applied. Now, when you open the menu, you'll see the guise currently applied to the Commander.
Fixed visual issues where Yamato's, Izumo's, and Yorck's previews didn't exactly match the actual ships.
PC
Fixed an issue on the random bundle rewards screen where the selected reward disappeared after scrolling.
Fixed a visual issue where the map name was displayed too high on the battle loading screen.
Fixed a visual bug in the Store where a bundle was sometimes highlighted in the bundle list without the player actually hovering over it.
Removed a clicking sound that played while loading the game.
