To identify errors in Pot's On! and improve the game's stability, gameplay flow, and balance, we collect certain gameplay logs while you play the game.
The collected information is used solely to improve the quality of the game. It is not used for personalized advertising or marketing, nor is it sold to third parties.

Gameplay logs will be collected from July 31, 2026, until the gameplay log collection feature is discontinued.
If there are any material changes to the information collected, the purposes of processing, the retention period, or other important details, we will notify you through a Steam Community announcement.

NotDailyBuildStudio, the developer of Pot's On! (the “Game”), values your privacy and processes gameplay logs as described below in accordance with applicable laws and platform policies.
1. Information We Collect
The following information may be generated or collected automatically while you use the Game.
Game and Runtime Information
Game build version and operating platform
Current game scene and stage of progression
Date and time when logs are generated and transmitted
Log transmission results and server response information
Gameplay Identifiers
A randomly generated installation identifier created when the Game is installed
A session identifier used to distinguish individual game sessions
A run identifier used to distinguish individual gameplay runs
Identifiers used to distinguish battles and in-game events
These identifiers do not contain your name, email address, Steam ID, or Steam profile name.
Gameplay Records
Starting, quitting, and continuing the Game, total playtime, and highest floor reached
HP, remaining lives, battle results, and reasons for ending a run
Attack, defense, and item activation records
Records of items obtained, owned, purchased, sold, upgraded, and placed
Gold earned and spent, and shop usage records
Synergy combinations, activations, and tier progression
Node movement, event choices, and content usage records
Gameplay logs do not contain chat messages or other free-form text entered directly by users.
When communicating with our servers, the service provider's operational logs may include IP addresses, connection times, request and response records, and server error information for security purposes and the proper operation of the service. This information is not used for game balance analysis.
2. Information We Do Not Collect
The following information is intentionally excluded from our own gameplay logs.
Names, email addresses, phone numbers, and dates of birth
Steam IDs, Steam profile names, profiles, and friends lists
Payment methods and payment information
Detailed system specifications, such as CPU, GPU, and RAM information
Unique hardware identifiers
Precise location information obtained through GPS
Specific keyboard input content
Chats, screenshots, videos, and audio recordings
3. How Information Is Collected and Transmitted
Logs generated while using the Game may be stored temporarily on your device and automatically transmitted to the log server when a network connection is available.
Logs that cannot be transmitted successfully may be stored temporarily on your device and transmitted again when network conditions allow.
Deleting the Game or resetting your save data will not automatically delete logs that have already been transmitted to the server or backup storage.
4. Retention and Use Period
Collected gameplay logs, related backups, and statistical data will be retained for up to 12 months from the date of collection and will then be deleted.
However, information may be retained for a longer period to the extent necessary in the following circumstances:
When retention is required by applicable law
When an error investigation, user inquiry, or dispute is still ongoing
When an investigation into a security incident or abnormal use is still ongoing
Anonymized statistical data that cannot be used to identify a specific user or installation environment may continue to be used to improve the Game.
5. Service Providers and International Data Transfers
We use the following service providers to transmit, store, back up, and operate the servers used for gameplay logs.
Render Services, Inc.
Primary log server region: Singapore
Processing activities: Receiving, storing, and processing gameplay logs; database integration; and server operation
Timing and method of transfer: Logs are transmitted over the network while the Game is being used
Retention period: Up to 12 months from the date of collection
Google LLC
Services used: Google Drive and Google Sheets
Processing activities: Storage and management of log backup files and gameplay statistics
Countries of transfer: Countries in which Google's international data centers are located, including the United States
Timing and method of transfer: When automatic or manual backups are performed, or when statistical data is exported
Retention period: Up to 12 months from the date of collection
Any changes to our service providers or their processing activities will be disclosed through this Privacy Policy.
6. Your Rights
You may contact us to inquire about or request the following actions regarding gameplay logs associated with you:
Confirmation of and access to information being processed
Correction of inaccurate information
Deletion of relevant logs
Suspension of gameplay log collection and personal information processing
Inquiries or objections concerning international transfers of personal information
To process your request, we may ask for the minimum information necessary to distinguish the relevant logs, such as the date and time you played the Game, your gameplay progress, or your installation identifier.
If there is not enough information to identify the relevant logs, we may be unable to provide access to or delete them.
Refusing gameplay log collection or international data transfers may limit our ability to investigate errors, respond to user inquiries, and analyze the quality of the Game.
A separate deletion request is required to delete information that has already been transmitted to the server or backup storage.
7. Information Processed by Steam
Account, purchase, payment, achievement, playtime, and platform usage information processed independently by Steam is managed in accordance with the terms of service and privacy policy of Valve Corporation.
Information processed by Steam is separate from the gameplay logs collected directly by NotDailyBuildStudio.
