Twenty years ago, Company of Heroes changed the RTS genre with its cinematic battlefield action and tactical depth. As we celebrate this milestone, we’re excited to share our 20th Anniversary Franchise Roadmap, giving you a look at what’s coming to the Company of Heroes Franchise until the end of the year!
2026 has been a big year for Company of Heroes, with several major releases including Topaz Rhino (2.3.0) and the Dare & Destroy Battlegroup DLC for Company of Heroes 3. The anniversary celebration continues with the release of the new standalone wave defense experience - Company of Heroes 3: Final Stand. This will also align with the release of update 2.5.0 for CoH3 which includes balance and gameplay changes, new maps, and a refresh of the lobby screen.

At the heart of the anniversary celebration is Company of Heroes: Definitive Edition, bringing the classic game to a new generation of players, and giving longtime fans of the franchise a definitive way to play the game that started it all. Later this year, Company of Heroes 3 will receive a major 3.0 update, which will include substantial improvements to existing features, a change of weather in parts of the Mediterranean, new cosmetics, a sixth Battleground for Final Stand, and more. We will be sharing additional info as we get closer to release.
