Hello there! We may not have met before, but I’m Chris, the Community Manager at insertdisc5! Hello hello!
THE QUICK VERSION:
✨ We're doing an In Stars and Time book club, where we all replay In Stars and Time together! ✨
From now until August 20th, grab your console to replay (or play!) Act 1 and 2, talk with people over on ISAT's Discord in the #book-club channel, and even post your playthrough thoughts using the #ISATbookclub hashtag!
On August 20th, Adrienne and I will play some scenes from those Acts over on Twitch with some fun developer commentary, and then you have until September 30th to play Act 3, and so on until we'll celebrate ISAT's birthday on Twitch on November 20th!
THE LONGER VERSION WITH INVALUABLE DETAILS:
The third anniversary of In Stars And Time releasing on Steam is this year, November 20th to be exact, and to celebrate we want to do A Fun Thing!
We will be running a book club type replay of the game on Discord and across socials using #ISATbookclub, with each month covering one or two Acts. So if it’s been a while since you last played, or if you know some folks who might enjoy it but haven’t got to yet, this is an excuse to all play together and discuss the game!
You can talk about your thoughts while replaying, whether it's "i like that part" or "\[insert three paragraphs on a specific scene]", we love it all and want to read it so we can all reexperience the game together!
At the end of each club Adrienne and myself will stream on Twitch playing a specific section so we can discuss it in more detail, while also hanging out with everyone and taking questions.
Here’s how we’re breaking down each chapter…
Today ✨ Act 1-2, with a stream on August 20th
August 21st ✨ Act 3, with a stream on Sept 30th
October 1st ✨ Act 4, with a stream on October 20th,
October 21st ✨ Act 5-6, with a stream on November 20th
The November 20th stream will be a bigger one to celebrate the anniversary itself, but we will have more info about that down the line.
