Hello Dragon Hunters,
Now you know a bit more on Ravenous Weapons, it's time to talk about how and where to get one.
For that, we'll need to venture into Dracomondus once more... Welcome to Purgatory.
Settled half-way between the surface and the depths of Dracomondus, the Purgatory is a chaotic, unstable and shifting space where no one should linger, even less dare to stop.
It is only meant to be passed through, but now we've set one foot in, there is no turning back.
How to get to the Purgatory?
The Purgatory's entrance is symbolized by a green ominous portal which opens at key moments of the story. During endgame, a portal may open at the end of a hunt - chances of portal opening will increase each time a hunt is completed.
Once opened though, you only have one shot to pass through it - better be prepared!
But pass through what exactly? Well, hordes of enemies scattered around serpentine islands struck by malicious and harmful curses meant to slow you down while a doomed-clock started ticking the second you arrived. What could possibly go wrong?
What is the Purgatory?
The Purgatory is composed of a set of three islands.
You'll need to kill enough enemies before the time runs out on the first two islands to access the third one, where a final enemy awaits.
Scattered sigils of the Eternal will aid you fight time by granting you back precious seconds to clear the islands - if you happen to find one.
Time is of the essence, Hunters!
Each island is also struck by a curse, like portals warping away anything that steps on it, a doppelganger that instantly kills you if you cross its path, and a few others to discover.
But that's not all: these curses also stack as you progress from island to island, meaning you'll end up competing with three curses if you manage to reach the last island. And still an enemy to bring down.
No big deal if you've come this far, right?
If you do manage to triumph over all this, the reward in your reach is a bit different though.
Opening the chest will grant you a Draconic Gift, which can grant you a Ravenous Weapon as well as any draconic item.
Speaking of which, we saw some of you wondering if one of the Ravenous effects teased would allow other classes to ride their own Draghurss... Well, of course it will!
