Onslaught Light is back with familiar rules and valuable rewards. Jump into 7v7 battles in Tier VIII vehicles, including Premium ones, and enjoy a more relaxed competitive experience—no ranks, no pressure, just gameplay!
Onslaught Light: Main Rules
Tier VIII only. SPGs and a few vehicles of other types are excluded from the mode—check them out below.
No ranks or qualification. With lower stakes, play for fun (and gains)!
Standalone event. Not part of the Onslaught year/season cycles.
Credit and XP gain. The same as in Tier VIII Random Battles.
Premium vehicles allowed. All respective bonuses apply.
Event progression. Earn Progression Points, with no loss of progress ever, and receive extra rewards!
Onslaught modifiers. All Onslaught modifiers apply.
Maps. Special versions of Random Battle battlefields adapted for this mode.
Platoons and Super Platoons. Play with a friend or in a pre-made team of seven commanders.
Points of Interest. Capture these to use Tactical Skills—Divisional Radar and Artillery Strike.
Role Skills. These depend on your vehicle type and role.
Excluded Vehicles
Onslaught Light is an experimental mode. Some vehicles are unsuitable for this new format due to their combat roles. Plus, some tanks overperform at Tier VIII under the special Onslaught battle conditions and can decide the outcome of battles. Therefore, we've excluded them from the mode: AAT60, BZ-176, FCM 50 t, Gonsalo, Löwe, SDP wz 66 Grom, T34, T34 B.
Rewards and Progression
Onslaught Light features a 15-stage progression system packed with rewards, including Experimental Equipment, components, bonds, credits, Personal Reserves, and more.
You can also unlock four decals, two of which are brand-new: "Fierce Firefly" and "Artillery Strike"; and two distinctive 2D styles—"See the Light" and "Enlightenment"—designed to showcase your achievements in the mode.
