I hope everyone is enjoying raiding so far!
I've spent a lot of time this week watching streamers, and it's lead to a few fixes (especially for our friends who play as main tanks)
Fun Stuff:
-In the guild manager there is now a "Recruit" button. This will spam a shout to whatever zone you're in and tempt other SimPlayers to join your guild. You'll have more success with a higher guild rating (it works at all levels of guild score for now though). There is a cooldown on it of ~1 minute, so while you can spam non-stop, it won't be effective.
-If you enjoy customization, you can also type /recruit "your message here" to use custom guild recruiting messages.
-Guilds will now spam welcome messages to new members
BUG:
-The default cam draw distance was accidentally set to 5 in the options menu. Opening the graphics menu had a chance to revert your draw distance to this number if you had never adjusted it before. Sorry to all the new players who got confused by this issue, it's fixed.
-Faerie's nameplates are now above their heads instead of across their bodies.
UI: -Adjusted damage popup numbers to not be obscured by your target's model. They also spread out a bit more for readability.
Raid Fixes:
-Telling all groups to hold a position with "Here!" would fail if: 1.) Groups 2 and / or 3 were set to "assist group 1" and 2.) The player was flagged as main tank for group 1 and 3.) The player was pulling a mob from far away. Groups 2 and 3 would immediately run to engage the mob. Alternatively, if groups 2 and 3 engaged from too far away, they would bounce around trying to return to their hold position, and then trying to re-engage the mob. This is fixed. The new behavior is that groups will mill around anticipating your return if you have aggro, and they will engage once they are in range. Engaging a mob, or being ordered to attack will override the "Here!" command, so it'll need to be reissued after fight as you reposition for the next target.
-Quick-Assigning Targets to groups who's task was "Assist Group X" would outright fail via the extended target window. The group would immediately revert back to their original, assisted target.
The fix: Using the extended target window will temporarily change a group's assign task to "Focus Assigned Target" and they will focus on your orders until that target is dead. They will then revert back to their previous setting.
-Added a few more single-pullable Paladins to Soluna's plane near the start. Watch out for the Sunbringer still!
Note: The BETABRANCH RAID PLAYTEST has been disabled. Be sure you've switched back to the main branch.
