NosFriends, we’re on the hunt for talented artists to create backgrounds for the character selection screen, inspired by any of the four seasons. Whether you choose spring, summer, autumn or winter, we want to see your creativity brought to life!
Grab your pencils, paintbrushes or tablets, and send us your themed images for the four seasons. Please remember that there must be space for the characters in the middle of the image (see below for more details).
Competition Details
- Create a seasonally themed image for the character selection screen.
- Dimensions: 1920x1400 (the image may be slightly stretched depending on game resolution)
- Format: only .jpg
- Using AI tools is not allowed and will lead to disqualification
- Send your creations directly as an email attachment (no external links) with the subject line Seasonal Fan Art 2026 to: [email protected]
- Don’t forget to supply your character and server name.
- Deadline for submissions: 02/08/2026

Please note that there must be space for the characters in the centre of the image.
Evidence of Authorship
In order that we can verify the authenticity of the images, each submission must include images of the various stages of the creative process.
Examples of this could include:
- Initial sketches
- Line drawings
- Intermediate stages
- Colouring process
- Other pictures showing the work in progress
Submissions which do not provide enough evidence of the creative process may be disqualified.
Submission Limits
Each participant may only submit 1 artwork. The artwork must be designed specifically for the character selection screen, and should recognisably fit the theme of the seasons.
Multiple submissions from the same participant will not be accepted.
Originality
All submitted artworks must be your own original creations. The use of AI-generated, AI-supported or plagiarised artworks is strictly prohibited.
Participants whose submissions are determined to be AI-generated or not be original content will be disqualified from the contest, as well as from future NosTale contests of any kind.
Note: We invite you to sign your artworks so others can honour your contributions!
Prizes
The top 10 artists each receive:
- An acrylic figurine and a keychain of either a female Fog Hunter or a male Fire Storm (of their choice)
- A Gameforge coupon worth €25.00
- The in-game title ‘Artiste’
