🦇 A Night of Pest Control
Greetings, Children of the Night.
My master, Vladimir de La Ligne, grew tired of the vermin scuttling through his bar, so he sent me back down to the cellars with a lantern in one hand and a list in the other. No grand new feature this time. Just a long night spent crushing bugs, oiling the hinges, and making your unlife a little smoother. He watched. He almost looked pleased.
🕯️ New Comforts for Your Establishment
Drunk guests now find the toilet before they empty their stomachs. They stagger into the stall and do their business inside, though about half the time (50%) the floor still gets a splash.
Click a low-stock alert to open the shop, for blood and human stock alike. No more hunting for the right button while your shelves run dry.
Click a room warning to find the room. The "no exterior access" and room-assignment warnings now fly the camera straight to the guilty chamber, one after another.
Character pop-up delay, a new slider under Options ▸ Gameplay ▸ Notifications (circumstantial, non-scripted pop-ups only). Hold Sophie and the others back for up to 120 seconds; if the problem sorts itself out, the message never bothers you.
Delivery sounds toggle in Options ▸ Sound, for those the delivery jingle wore down.
Replay now asks before it wipes a finished save, so no completed run dies to a careless click.
Timed missions show their failure penalty on the offer, up in the top-right corner, before you sign in blood.
The "eliminate discreetly" button shows its cooldown with a ring and a tooltip, so you know why the hunt must wait.
⚖️ Balance & Tuning
Auto-buy deliveries are grouped into fewer trucks per stock type, instead of a swarm of tiny runs.
The delivery jingle no longer loops on itself; it waits its turn.
🩸 Bugs Banished
Service & Minions
Seated customers who were never served, and orders that could not be taken, flow again.
Minions no longer freeze holding a corpse with nowhere to put it.
Humans load into machines again (no more null-crash at the Cell and its kin).
Bodies and fresh kills stay inside the bar, where they belong. Strays are cleaned up, and old cursed saves are mended on load.
"Eliminate discreetly" no longer sends a worker wandering the map to never kill anyone.
Permanently hypnotised humans are freed, and their eyes finally settle back to normal.
Yokai District (Level 5) no longer locks up on pathfinding, and hire candidates stop pacing dead ends.
Workers stranded on carved navmesh islands are snapped back instead of freezing.
Two humans can no longer be crammed into a single cell.
The vampire bite animation lines up again with its victim.
Customers no longer walk out through the wall, or die, at a machine's unload point.
Machines run right after you place them.
Economy & Stock
Automatic blood restock actually restocks blood now, not only human goods.
The "out of stock" alert shows up as it should, and an empty shelf is no longer mistaken for a full one.
Progression & Saves
The lost Western theme unlock is granted back.
Level progress and unlocks that were quietly slipping away on load are recovered from your scene saves.
Junk stranded outside the bar is swept away when you load in.
Interface & Stability
Sophie's false "not enough chairs" cry now counts vampire seats too.
Several freezes and soft-locks exorcised: the stuck pause in construction, the panic-camera crash, and the flood of errors when you poked destroyed furniture.
Key rebinding takes effect in-game.
Room-assignment mode stays on when you click a room.
