Good news, doctors: the town of Mercy discovered architecture!
Update 0.4.8 is live, and it brings a big new way to organize your hospital: walls, doors, rooms, signs, and just enough construction work to make everyone deeply concerned.
Now you can finally stop running a medical facility that looks like someone emptied a hospital supply truck into a gymnasium.

Walls and doors so players can customize and organize their hospital space. Make rooms, add doors, build walls or half walls (if you want that open space feel) and customize them with your favorite wallpapers and flooring.
Signs so players can label where things are, because apparently “that bloody corner over there” was not a sustainable navigation system when playing with friends. If you're a creator we recommend naming some rooms after your favorite community members, like "The DefaultUser X-Ray Room".
New bullet hole decal effects (We always felt weird about this missing from the game).
New summer item sounds although that's more a bug fix.
Ceiling grime in dirty rooms, for that authentic “please call maintenance” atmosphere

X-Ray machines now require surrounding walls that block the X-ray from hitting nearby chairs, beds, desks, and entrances. We’ve heard radiation is bad. Who knew?!
Removed the Furniture category in the shop and replaced it with Utility, which now includes old furniture plus the new walls.
Changed the level-up VFX.
