As we continue preparing PixARK: Terracrypt for launch this August, we’re not only building a vast new underground world to explore. We’re also improving the core PixARK experience so every journey feels more rewarding, more flexible, and a little less punishing when danger strikes.
In PixARK, every great adventure comes with risk. That’s part of the thrill. Maybe you’re leading your favorite dinosaur into a Boss fight. Maybe you’re venturing into a hostile biome with your best gear. Maybe you’re testing a bold new build idea that could change the way you survive.
But one unlucky moment can sometimes erase hours of progress.
To give players more freedom to explore, experiment, and take on dangerous challenges with confidence, we’re introducing a new Save Backup and Load System for Single-Player Mode. This feature will launch alongside Terracrypt and will be added to the base game.
With this new system, you’ll be able to create your own save points in Single-Player Mode whenever you need them.
Save Before the Big Moment About to challenge a Boss, enter a high-risk area, or make major changes to your base? Create a manual save point before you commit.
Keep Multiple Save Points The system will record important data such as your current map, character status, and in-game time. Each player can keep up to 10 save points at the same time.
If a battle goes wrong, an experiment fails, or you simply want to try a different route, you can load a previous save point from the Single-Player menu and continue from there.
Our goal is simple: we want explorers to feel more confident pushing deeper into danger, testing new survival strategies, and taking on stronger enemies without the fear that one mistake will wipe away everything they’ve built.
Whether you’re preparing for the mysteries of Terracrypt or continuing your journey through the world of PixARK, this update is designed to give you more control over your adventure.
