9 Days – Patch 1.42
This update focuses heavily on Transformation progression, making your chosen forms a legitimate and rewarding path to gaining power. Nearly every transformation has been rebalanced to be competitive, allowing you to build around the form you enjoy the most.
The more you train a transformation, the more rewarding it becomes.
Transformation Rework
Transformations have been significantly reworked to better reward investment.
Previously, points invested into your Ascension Table were simply added to your transformation. These points are now multiplied, resulting in much greater gains as you continue to train your favourite forms.
This applies to:
True Protector Points
Omni Points
Wrathpoints
Sincerus was already using this multiplier system and remains unchanged.
Most transformations are now much closer in power, allowing for far more build variety than before.
A New Meta
With these changes, character progression is now more focused around building your own playstyle.
The ideal build now revolves around:
Obtaining the highest stat gear possible.
Pairing it with a Prime Armour that complements your build.
Further boosting that stat through Energy Absorption.
Multiplying that power through your Transformation Points.
Every part of your build now works together to create significantly stronger transformations.
Flux Vendor Expansion
To help with the new transformation progression, the Flux Vendor has been expanded.
Alongside the previously added True Protector and Omni upgrades, you can now purchase a new enhancement that doubles the points earned for all transformation progression.
This applies across all respective transformation point systems.
Prime Armour Improvements
All recently added Prime Armours have been buffed.
Many of the original Prime Armours have also been adjusted to better complement the new transformation system.
Be sure to revisit your favourite Prime Armours you may discover entirely new build possibilities.
Additionally:
One new Infusor has been added to the rotation.
Training Dummy
Need somewhere to test your new builds?
A high-health training dummy has been added to the Oracle's Planet, allowing players to properly test damage and compare builds without enemies being defeated too quickly.
Representative Questline
The secret Representative Questline has received a major story expansion.
If you have already completed this questline, head over to the Oracle's home to experience the new ending.
Quality of Life
Auto Collect
Fixed an issue where Auto Collect could interfere with player movement.
Throwing
The spinning throw now consumes Energy when used.
New Music for Null Horizon
Thank You
Thank you for continuing to support 9 Days.
I'm excited to see the new builds and combinations players come up with following this transformation overhaul. Nearly every transformation is now a viable way to play, so don't be afraid to experiment and find a build that suits your style.
Good luck, and I'll see you in the next update!
